YAK FACTS:
• R3-M3 was an astromech droid which served the Galactic Empire aboard the first Death Star. He was most likely destroyed along with the space station over the planet Yavin.

• R3-series astromech were noted for their clear domes which increased the range of their internal sensor equipment.

• R3-M3 was originally given the designation of R3-O1 prior to the San Diego Comic-Con in 2009
