Re: Yakfinities #67 - Cold Weather Customs

I agree with Chewie - the sniper is excellent. I think the "soft goods" make the figure. Excellent work EndorJunkie.

Re: TVC 2018 Figures

I have a hard time trying to figure out repacks. For me part of the issue is accessibility, but what I find versus what other people report are sometimes very different. For example, I had no trouble finding the Rogue One Shoretrooper, but I never found the Rebel Soldier - Echo Base gear (VC68). So ...

Re: Yakfinities #67 - Cold Weather Customs

Great entries!

I like the Ice Drake - my son has several of those MegaBloks Dragons, didn't even think about using them for Star Wars (D'oh). I'll be curious to see its rider.

Re: Yakfinities #67 - Cold Weather Customs

Nice entries so far.
Utinniii - I think they cleverly call those plants from Hoth "Ice Plants."
IABF - I like the Scarlett Johansson head for Winter (I used a Marauder Gunrunner head for my version of the character) and the canon looks great!

Re: Yakfinities #67 - Cold Weather Customs

Great entries so far! Wish I had ever found that Echo Base trooper at a reasonable price - would have made great custom fodder.

Re: Yakfinities #66 - The Unexplained

I finished my second submission. I really like the character, but he totally fits the "unexplained" category for me (steam technology suit, no legs, etc.): Empatojayos Brand: https://i.imgur.com/aUjTcUv.jpg https://i.imgur.com/4AcLWoC.jpg https://i.imgur.com/pjLcwEL.jpg Recipe: Head = POTF...

Re: Yakfinities #66 - The Unexplained

Chewie - Cool creature with the Rogzuul. I really like how that turned out. (I've been eyeing those Demogorgon figures for customs as well) IABF - I really like how the decraniated character turned out! The dianoga hybrid is a great concept and your sculpting is outstanding as usual. StooperZero - T...

Re: Yakfinities #66 - The Unexplained

OC47151 - I was waiting for a zombie figure! (I'm not a fan of the zombie genre, but was surprised we hadn't seen one yet.) Nice job. Chewie - I love that Sasquatch. I never found one of those Cryptzoology figures (though I looked when they were in the wild). I always thought they would work well in...

Re: Yakfinities #67 - Category Time

I can't speak for anyone else, but the biggest issue for me is time. It takes time to design a figure, it takes tie to assemble a figure and it takes time to develop the skill set that some of our fellow customizers have (whose work I enjoy immensely). This isn't an excuse, we make time for the thin...

mousedroidhoojib - I know this last figure is based on concept drawing, but your execution makes for one creepy figure - excellently done. I also really liked how your Sugi custom turned out, kudos!

Re: Yakfinities #67 - Category Time

I like the "winter" theme (I'm trying to come up with a joke about Winter Celchu, but can't - just did a custom of her) - or rather "cold weather" theme, that has a lot of potential from armor and attire to alien species. But there are a lot of good ideas. How about "Winter...

Re: Yakfinities #66 - The Unexplained

Here is the first of two entries (I hope): https://i.imgur.com/fcrXkHd.jpg https://i.imgur.com/IORd573.jpg Along the border of the Unknown Region, across many planets, parents of a variety of species use a similar little ditty to encourage the children to behave. It goes something like this: It has ...
