Re: Raylen's Diorama Parts For Collectors

I've been gathering reference for those LT2 droids ever since the first one appeared in Rogue One. I'll flick you an e-mail tomorrow with everything I have so far. I had intended to have a crack at making one, and I believe Francisco of Asis Models is making one, too. In terms of scale, the dome is ...

Re: 2018 SDCC Exclusive

Gotta say, Aphra looks like a fantastic sculpt. It's great to see she has turned out so well. I hope comic fans of her character are happy to see her get such a phenomenal treatment, comics characters being so rare in today's line. The astromech is definitely better looking without the BFGs, but the...

Re: 2018 SDCC Exclusive

I utterly loathe the concept of these droids, especially the gunned up astromech. The figures are beautifully executed, but the idea of the characters is just so lame. This is an easy pass. Perhaps if the set becomes cheap to obtain down the road, I may pick up the protocol droid just to have as a g...

Re: 3.75" Fight Droids

It looks to me like there are at least three droids in that fighting pit. There's the gonk unit, WG-22; the whitish cylindrical droid, FD3-MN: and a reddish droid with a big circular eye that L3 addresses directly. Apologies for the image quality (or lack thereof). A buddy of mine surreptitiously sn...

Re: Solo: 3.75" Figures Revealed

Yeah, but the point being, wave 4? 4???? These are figures that should be in wave 1, or at the very least wave 2. It seems nuts to me that the majority of the film's most memorable characters are months behind the movie as toys.

Re: Solo: 3.75" Figures Revealed

Yep, you said it. It seems nowadays that we get a thin selection of subjects from across a movie rather than any real attempt to fulfill any one scene's full potential or encourage companion purchases.

Re: Solo: 3.75" Figures Revealed

Just looking at the line-up of basic figures, we don't see anymore Solo figures until wave 4, and those aren't secondary or background characters. They are mains! How long will the movie have been gone from cinemas before that wave makes it to retail, if it even does? And in the meantime we have wav...

Man, that Ryder in particular is stunning and so captures his character. Nice job.

Re: Solo: 3.75" Figures Revealed

I hope so. Having seen the film, I am hungry for a look at those wave 4 figures. The 3.75" lines, both 5POA and Vintage, are so thin for this film so far, and there are far too many TLJ characters in there taking up slots. I sincerely hope Hasbro intends to use the coming 18 months to play catc...

Re: Yakfinities #68 - REBELS

Some superb customs in this thread. I am so impressed by how ambitious some are. Here's a relatively modest one of mine: Governor Pryce . A relatively straight forward head-swap to start with: the body of Deena Shan and head from Plourr Ilo, both from the comic packs. A little modification to her ra...

Re: Solo: Vehicle Discussion (Spoilers)

Fortunately the soft and rubbery crumble-section is extremely simple in form and would be a very easy thing for any customizer with a modicum of skill to replace with something rigid, sacrificing the action feature. I will very likely do this with mine as it has only been a day it is already collect...
