Re: Retail Sales, Clearances, Etc.

I'm hoping the Ski Speeder, A-Wing, and police speeder all hit the $10 range, because I want the figures. I could then trade the vehicles or something. ..

Re: Rare Comic Pack

I believe I bought mine online as well, it shipped in a case assortment with the Infinities Maul vs Uncle Owen from what I remember. Years later, its hard to fathom a set like this was ever released. I doubt Hasbro would release a pack with characters such as these in the current line.

Re: Yakfinities #67 - Cold Weather Customs

I also took another photo of my Leia custom for this challenge, since my last one was so dark, but this one didn't turn out much better - at least a bit more detail is visible. I wish I could capture the shimmering affect with my phone. http://forum.rebelscum.com/photogallery/data/500/crait-leia2.jpg

Re: The Last Jedi (Spoiler Discussion)

That's something I wish we saw a bit more of in TFA / TLJ, the New Republic. We only briefly see their fleet in the Hosnian system as its being destroyed during TFA. Two ships appear to be Mon Calamari (bottom right corner of planet) - but its difficult to identify anything else. Perhaps the New Rep...

Re: The Last Jedi (Spoiler Discussion)

I've seen it twice, and continue to enjoy it - I think it could use some editing, but its otherwise a great movie. I liked TFA and RO as well, but I think TLJ takes the cake as my favorite. Both TFA and TLJ borrowed elements from the OT, but TLJ added enough twists to set it apart. RO was good, but ...

Re: Ewok Love

There is an unreleased prototype of the animated Weechee, but not a modern realistic figure that I am aware of. There was an Ewok named Flitchee in the TRU exclusive Ewok set w/ Kneesaa, Teebo, etc. Or perhaps you're thinking of Widdle from the Kmart set?

Re: Ewok Love

I like them as well, and years ago I campaigned to see more made, and Hasbro did an excellent job bringing us Ewoks I never thought would be produced, like Kneesaa for example. I'd really like to see a couple of characters from the Ewok tv movies before anything else from ROTJ though. Chukha-Trok an...

Re: Retail Sales, Clearances, Etc.

Sadly, Hasbro ditched the Rebels line, so we'll likely never get figures from Seasons 3 and 4. I doubt they'll repack anything as well, but they mentioned the possibility of realistic Rebels characters - but no specifics were given of course. They might surprise us with a couple in 2019 or wait year...

Haha its a nice set but Hasbro made too many. After all these years, they still cant accurately determine the proper ratios to meet demand.

Re: Yakfinities #67 - Cold Weather Customs

I haven't been customizing for awhile, but I wanted to jump into this challenge with a figure that covers two categories - cold weather and TLJ. I customized Leia from Crait, with her high collared cloak / dress - perfect for brisk conditions. I was trying to cut the fabric to resemble a quasi-vinta...

Re: Will The return of TVC Revive SW Collecting?

Interesting Q&A over at GH regarding whether TVC is a good idea from a collectors perspective as well as the author, who works at EE (toy / collectible industry insight):

Re: Retail Sales, Clearances, Etc.

Well, they're all overpriced to begin with, so discounts are necessary for many consumers. Even the day these products were released on FF, some companies like HTS offered coupons to help drive sales because of competition. Hasbro and retailers actually stocked less product for TLJ compared to TFA b...

Re: The Last Jedi (Spoiler Discussion)

That's an interesting point about a kids reaction, I saw the movie on preview night with my nephew and he seemed to love it. Each time I'd look over he'd be wide-eyed and grinning, haha - not to mention he couldn't stop talking about it after we left. In some regards, it was certainly a departure fr...
