Re: The 14 Trial: UPRISING - POSTED!

Chewie, Yakface is probably the only SW site I visit anymore. Jason Because it's been five years -- FIVE YEARS -- since your last Vader's Quest chapter and you promised -- PROMISED -- that you'd at least do one more chapter to finish out the series. We're waiting, Jason!!!!! That's awesome, and ded...

Oh meant to ask, the background wall in this picture:

Is it scratch-built or can something like this be purchased?

Thanks,

Re: The 14 Trial: UPRISING - POSTED!

Chewie, I like to drop in on Yakface from time to time just to see what you've done with your photonovel. Yakface is probably the only SW site I visit anymore. I appreciate your dedication to the genre and the art of photonovels. I from experience how back-breaking they can be. It can be compared to...

Re: The Last Jedi (Spoiler Discussion)

Well, still haven't watched TLJ a second time, but we did watch the Prequel Trilogy again last weekend. This was the first time I had watched the Prequel Trilogy in a couple of years. I've read some comments that TFA and TLJ are "still" better than any of the Prequel Trilogy, and after rew...

Re: The Last Jedi (Spoiler Discussion)

Crap! Utinniii's comment about gravity bombs in TESB really makes "sense" in explaining the bombs in TLJ. You also made a valid point about Snoke's origin, but that really wasn't a big issue to me. My cousin and I have talked at length about the "turtle space race," and the expla...

Re: The Last Jedi (Spoiler Discussion)

Ok, here are my thought on The Last Jedi, and I think Chewie's B- is pretty generous. . . I give it a D+ TLJ is probably my LEAST favorite film of the series to date. Yes, LEAST favorite. Worse than any of the Prequel movies. You can saw what you want about the Prequel, but at least they moved in a ...

Re: From the Quazar ArQuives - Volume 1: "Lockdown"

Dude it is so strange that I would come across this post! I was just sending an email and your email popped up in my contacts list which prompted me to come to Yakface and see what you had been up to. I thought that was an excellent start to the "other-verse" of the Trilogies i.e. the sto...

Re: Raylen's Diorama Parts For Collectors

I'm not sure if these guys are exclusively Star Wars fans, but it would be awesome if they came up with some GIJoe related diorama products!

Re: Raylen's Diorama Parts For Collectors

I've purchased the Hoth computer consoles and chairs. These things are top notch quality.

If this company was to produce an accurate curved piece to the cantina bar and a distillery, I would seriously look into getting back to completing my modular Cantina diorama I started years ago.

Re: CHEWIE's customs - 2.0 - Updated 12.07.15

Justin, Once again your customs are amazing! You seem to just a knack for the right blend of parts with an amazing paint job! I think the Merman custom figure was my favorite of the bunch!! I may have asked you this before but have you checked into the Marauder Task Force figures? I think their curr...

Re: The 8th Trial - CATASTROPHE

Justin, I check in from time to time to see where you are on the photonovel. I do the same over at Imperial Shipyards to see if Julian has added any new stuff. I've got a ton of GIJoe customs I need to get photographed and uploaded, but I barely find time to customize let alone photograph. Man I rea...

Re: The 8th Trial - CATASTROPHE

WOW!! What an amazing chapter full of action!! Once again your dioramas are just incredible as also your custom figures. The pic of Traedon Cusiro flying in on his jet pack is just incredible - the custom figure is awesome and the angle of the picture is spot on. I also love the mix of genres in you...

Re: Who are the best customizers in the hobby today?

Just happen to be cruising through Yakface looking for an old picture and I saw this post. I think "best" is going to be in the "eyes of the beholder." There are some who are excellent sculptors, there are some who are excellent painters, and then there are those who have a knack...
