Re: Where does the hobby go from here?

Cassian does have some nice gear and all, so if someone wants to customize, that would be a good idea. However, I feel a lot like Chewie. This guy is everywhere and Hasbro should have put him in the Target 3-pack and the less scene specific Cassian in its place. Due to his uniform being a basic rebe...

Re: Where does the hobby go from here?

There's a store here that just put their RO figures on sale (they only got wave 1). They're down to a couple of Jyns and the imperial landing trooper. However, they still have a bunch of TA figures at full price. It's just ridiculous. At this point, I think Hasbro should just plan 1 or 2 waves of 5 ...

Re: The Vintage Collection Returns!!!!!

Does anybody know what made Hasbro change their tune on SA 3.75" figures? Were they holding back because the films were coming too quickly? Were they holding back because of their exclusive deal with Wal-Mart? Are sales of the 6" line declining so much that they needed to change their focu...

Re: The Vintage Collection Returns!!!!!

I think the $13 range seems okay as long as we are talking premium figures, with smart case assortments and 75% or more in each wave are new figures. As for costs going much over that... with mass retail, production should be higher. And retailers also competing for business. So, those factors sho...

Re: Black Series: 3-3/4" Scale Figures General Discussion

At TF Hasbro talked about how a story has a beginning, a middle, and an end and all. Since 6" and 5 POA have come out, Hasbro seemed to always release 6" and 5 POA stuff first and then a few months later allow the 3.75" SA stuff to trickle out. It's possible that is still their plan. ...

Re: Would the return of TVC really do anything?

At this point, I wonder if Hasbro's strategy is to wait on TVC stuff until the film hype dies down and then bring it out again. There have been rumblings that we will see something 3.75" TVC this year, but I wouldn't be surprised either way. At this point, Hasbro seems to be looking at the main...

Re: The 12th Trial - RISING DEPTHS - POSTED!

So, where do I start. Great episode, once again leaving us wanting for more at the end. I loved the sets a lot and I think this time the colors, which are perfect, really stand out. I'm interested to see where these all leads and who the Maker might be (assuming we've met him already).

Re: Has distribution gone downhill? Again?

Hasbro needs to sell the bulk of their figures to the stores that have toy departments. If they sell too many on their website, then they'll begin competing directly with their customers. The last thing Hasbro needs is one of the big stores cancelling their account.

Re: Black Series: 3-3/4" Scale Figures General Discussion

I was lucky that the TVC wave with Ponda Baba hot pretty heavily here, so I picked up a few extras. He's a great figure for customs, especially with the swivel waist. The sandtrooper is really nice as well. I will probably pick up an extra Tusken as well.

That's a good idea for a 2-pack. Is it coming in the fall then?
