Re: Will The return of TVC Revive SW Collecting?

They really need to grab the attention of longtime collectors, and those that loved the diversity of TVC, which made it such a strong line. The character selection is far more important in my opinion than the cardbacks, because I'll happily buy unmade characters, but I wont be buying any repacks be...

Re: mechanic shop playset

Great work. I really love stuff like this. I know if Hasbro makes a playset, they want some action and all, but stuff like this really adds to the whole SW universe (or other action figure lines).

I love the use of various parts from various sources for tools, and spare parts, and all.

Re: Will The return of TVC Revive SW Collecting?

Great points guys. I agree with everything you've said, so I'm going to point out something that I think is a positive, straight from Hasbro. At Hascon, I think it was, there was an interview with Joe and Steve and Joe kept making the point that with TVC they were really trying to focus on groups or...

Re: Retail Sales, Clearances, Etc.

Wal_Mart is giving up on this stuff pretty quickly. These have been out for about a month now, you'd think they could wait until after Christmas for discounts like that. That said, I'd buy both at those prices.

Re: Recent Finds/Acquisitions: The Black Series

Ponda Baba is probably my favorite TVC figure. He was easy to find here, so I picked up a few extras. He's really easy to take apart for customs and the options with the different hands is wonderful.

Re: Black Series: 3-3/4" Scale Figures General Discussion

Glad to here about the last TBS wave. I assume Rey will be in the same outfit as the 6" one because that is also listed as Jedi training. I'm in for Rey and Luke. The other two designs aren't really my cup of tea. I'll probably get an executioner trooper, but those guards just don't appeal to me.

Re: The Last Jedi Mega Playset

Well said and I agree. I haven't seen this yet, but I still the think the price is too high. I understand they force gauntlet is included as well as 2 figures, however, even if that chopped off $30 off the price, I still think it's too high. I'll applaud Hasbro for making a playset. God knows we've ...

It's an LFL design. I think the director wanted it changed a bit for some reason.

Re: Hovertank

I think they want us to be able to buy the driver for the tank first. maybe the commander will come later as an easy repaint, although I can understand your point that they keep making the same version, just different amounts of articulation.

My sentiments exactly. However, it would be great to see them go this route and bring out other packs like this.

Re: Where does the hobby go from here?

Cassian does have some nice gear and all, so if someone wants to customize, that would be a good idea. However, I feel a lot like Chewie. This guy is everywhere and Hasbro should have put him in the Target 3-pack and the less scene specific Cassian in its place. Due to his uniform being a basic rebe...

Re: Where does the hobby go from here?

There's a store here that just put their RO figures on sale (they only got wave 1). They're down to a couple of Jyns and the imperial landing trooper. However, they still have a bunch of TA figures at full price. It's just ridiculous. At this point, I think Hasbro should just plan 1 or 2 waves of 5 ...
