I'm getting excited for this. I have to finish my "Rogue One" entry tonight, and then this weekend I can start on some tribal goodness. So many choices from the extremely primitive tribals (like Talz & Jungle Felucians) to the technology proficient (like Wookiees.) I'll probably start with a Jawa (duh) or perhaps an Ewok.

When not working as an apprentice hoodmaker in Bright Tree Village on Endor, Latara spent time with her friends Princess Kneesaa and Wicket while pursuing a burgeoning relationship with Teebo.

Although Latara was one of a number of figures that Kenner had intended for release in 1986 animated Ewoks action figure line, she has yet to make an official mainstream appearance in plastic form (Comics Spain released a static version in 1985) so I thought that I would put together my own version mimicking her animation design.

Latara looks great! Very reminiscent of the cartoon character. I have started several new customs for this challenge, including Ewoks, and hope to post something this weekend.

With the competition for Tatooine's limited resources shared between Jawas, Tusken Raiders and human settlers, the native Mongo Beefhead Tribespeople are heading quickly towards extinction, with females of the species becoming increasingly rare.

That's a great call back to the original Kenner line for a one that never was...very cool indeed. So, I kind of have an idea what is meant by Tribal alien, but would anyone care to elaborate on it a bit. It might help me flush that idea out to take form...

Any sort of character that is in a non-tech (or low tech) society would fit the theme.

Mousedroidhoojib, really nice figures. Latara turned out well, but I love your take on the Mongo Beefhead. Excellent figure.

I'm also grooving the Beefhead! It is much different than the one I've started (and much cooler.)
