Fenn Shysa - was one of only 212 Mandalorians to fight under Alpha-Ø2 (also known as "Spar") during the Clone Wars. Along with his childhood friend, Tobbi Dala, Shysa fought for the Confederacy of Independent Systems, who were affiliated with the planet of Mandalore. By the war's end and the defeat of the Separatists, those Mandalorian forces had been reduced to only Shysa, Dala, and a psychologically scarred Alpha-Ø2.

I don't plan to use this as my "official" entry, but he is my most recently completed figure and he does fit the definition of "Organic Separatist Forces", if somewhat loosely, so I thought I'd share...

This month's Yakfinities, and the awesome entires so far, have me pumped up to enter! When's the cut-off?

I love Onaconda Farr, the She-quay, the Quarrens, Jodo Kast, the Iktochi Merc...all great stuff! Man, I'm glad I didn't miss this!

Cutoff isn't until the end of April... and I agree, I love the entries so far.

Fenn Shysa in particular is really well done.

Thanks Chewie! Here is my realistically styled General Oro Dassyne:

Image Image Image

Oro Dassyne was a male Koorivar who worked for the Corporate Alliance and served as a general in the Clone Wars on the side of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Dassyne was initially stationed on Murkhana in 22 BBY when the Clone Wars began; however, he wanted to take part in the war, and requested that he be moved away from Murkhana, an isolated planet. Dassyne was sent to Bomis Koori IV, where he created a stronghold he believed to be impervious. However, in 20 BBY, two Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, succeeded in breaching his fortress, and shut down the ray shields, allowing Republic starships to bombard the bulwark from orbit. Dassyne was killed in the battle.

I used a couple of screenshots from the original Star Wars: The Clone Wars series as references for this figure. However, because I wanted this to be a realistically styled version of the character, I did take certain liberties with the design of his costume. I also modelled his face after the way that Passel Argente appeared in the films. Both were Koorivar males, so it stood to reason that they'd be similar.

I think that this will be my official submission, but I'll probably throw in a couple more for fun...

Wow... that's a fantastic rendition of General Oro... he always stood out to me as a character that I remember from the original series.

The details on this figure are awesome... the parts you used really mesh well together, and the painting is superb, especially the gold trim details.

I'm a little thrown off by some of it though because I'm not sure if you sculpted the hat or it's from something else? Looks great!

Absolutely fantastic, and that is sadly one figure we can be sure that we will never see made.

Thanks, guys! The funny part is that he was made entirely from parts that I considered "left-overs", all of which (coincidentally) came from Sith Lords.

The head is from RotS Palpatine (the one with the replaceable head), the cape is from an old PotF2 Darth Vader and everything else is from a TPM Jedi Duel Darth Maul. The headgear was sculpted with Super Sculpey.

Excellent man. I also like to use all the parts of the figures I take apart so I make "sausage" customs with the leftovers heh, like a butcher ;-) Just background citizens n stuff.
