Thankee, sir! I remember seeing exactly ONE of those fig's on the pegs at a time I had no money to spare. She looks absolutely fantastic.

I sat down and tossed out a camo pattern on one sniper's cape tonight. Changed out his rifle & belt and gave him a rangefinder. Here's a shot of the cloak camo.

Top, they look great! The Indy figure works pretty well for a SW figure I think! Also, Uhura's head looks much better than I had initially thought and works well here.

Doc, saw your update over at Reblescum, these guys are certainly coming along. In the pic over there, is that hot glue you're using to do the lowered hoods?

Yup! Low-temp hotglue. I'm not quite happy with the results yet, but that's because I'm no sculptor. I'll get there.

3 of 6, halfway there! I was agonizing of painting the thin straps around his lekku, and decided I could get away with full wraps instead. . Also, the dark green wash over his brown pants does a good job of suggesting camouflage without looking like a real world pattern. Skin color of his neck and face is a little off from the arms, but it still pretty close.

Erran'vel is the team's grunt, mechanic, and explosives expert.

EMPEROR PALPATINE CLONE - Face
AAYLA SECURA (Jedi Knight) / (Battle of Geonosis) - Lekku
ENDOR REBEL SOLDIER - Helmet, Gun
LUKE SKYWALKER (Heir to the Empire) -Torso
GIJOE CROC-MASTER - Arms
REBEL VANGUARD TROOPER (Rebel Soldier) - Legs, Gloves

Starting to get close to actually finishing a 6 figure project! This one came together quite nicely, I think mostly because I was working of an existing design and just adapting it to a female frame. I think she makes a pretty convincing female Rebel Fleet Trooper.

Velliera Aurin is the team's current leader, having been picked by Forlon as his replacement when he decided the Alliance needed some younger leadership in the face of the Empire's overwhelming numbers and traditional military strength. Still a member of the group, he acts a Velliera's XO and occasional conscience as she grows into her new role of team leader.

POTC ELIZABETH SWAN: Head
MARA JADE (Heir to the Empire): Torso, Waist
HAN SOLO (Smuggler): Arms, comm-pack
DEENA SHAN (Empire): Legs
PADMÉ AMIDALA (Coruscant Attack): Boots
REBEL HONOR GUARD (Yavin): Helmet
ISABET REAU & RAV BRALOR: Modified Blaster Pistols

One more left to go! This is one I'd actually put together and dyed a long time ago... but the dye started to bleed onto the white parts and I got pretty discouraged with it. The Team concept inspired me to give her another shot and I actually managed to fix her up pretty well.

Lara is an ex-Imperial Sniper and doesn't get along with most of the rest of the Renegades. They're begrudgingly beginning to accept her though, as she provides impeccable intelligence about their enemy and has proven just as determined and ruthless in the fight against the Empire as her new team mates. When Forlon chose a new leader, Lara insisted her military seniority, despite it coming from the wrong side, made her best choice for the job. She is slowly accepting Velliera as her superior.

PADMÉ AMIDALA: Head, Torso, Upper Arms, Upper Legs, Hands, Feet
CLONE TROOPER (Rocket-Firing Launcher!): Lower Legs, Lower Arms (shortened)
CLONE SCUBA TROOPER: Modified Blaster Rifle
HAN SOLO (Death Star Escape): Belt
BULTAR SWAN (Purge): Chest Armor
GIJOE FIREFLY (Comic Pack): Visor (upside down)

Thanks guys. Not to get too sappy, but I got a double shot of bad news a few weeks ago (got the results of an MRI and found out I had a benign tumor near my brain stem putting pressure on a nerve causing hearing loss 3 hours before I was laid off with no warning). So I've been moping around the house for a few weeks as we prepare for the surgery to have the tumor removed, and having this project to work on, and having the figures come out the way I envisioned them has done a lot for my spirits.

It's why I've been so gung-ho about the project and why I'm able to get through these much faster than I usually work on a figure. Anyway, it's having this project to work on rather than dwell on losing my job or all the medical test and upcoming surgery has made all the difference in how I'm doing, and I'd like to think that's showing in the quality of the figures. I really feel like these are some of my best work, and have me really excited about the hobby.

I hope I'm able to do that short photonovel to introduce the characters, and I'm really excited about all the other teams that are being submitted! Really appreciate the feedback, and love being a part of the customizing scene here... this might not be the busiest customizing forum around, but I really think it's one of the friendliest and nicest to visit!

That sucks. But hey - you get to knock out some seriously rockin' customs! I'm discovering how much fun molding and casting is, since I'm laid off. It's all in how you decide to look at things, I guess.

Hey guys, I'm an import from Rebel scum....I just wanted to comment on the fantastic entries so far. They are all looking great and I'm hoping to get something together to throw into the mix myself. Keep the teams coming!

I had not heard of this contest, or this site, until seeing docoutlands entries, now I'm very tempted.

And wow, laid off is certainly going around, :(

My wife and I are both uenmployed, well the wife doesn't get laid off til June 18th. Luckily, there are lots of things to do around the house and we do have the whole unemployment pay to spend on toys, ;)

Painting the wookiee is driving me nuts. Spent a few hours on him today and just got done scrubbing it all off to start over. Don't have a solid idea of where I'm going with him yet... trying not to get too impatient.

Hey DanOfTheDead, you take care of yourself my friend... getting laid off is a punch in the stomach but what you've had to deal with is a lot. I'm sorry to see the tough news but hopefully after the surgery you'll be feeling better and everything will get back on track.

Great customs too, it's always a pleasure to see your continued progress on this amazing group of figures and your positive attitude is contagious!

I can't make up my mind on what I like more, the Mon Cal or female fleet trooper...
