hey guys, well long time no post, I have been busy with the birth of our 3rd son (Cowan Jack (co-jack) 7p7oz, work (tons getting ready for the 2010 winter olympic games), school (just completed my 1st yr of elevator schooling), just about going on strike (50 votes seperating strike and no strike).... and I think that I suggested teams in the first place so I had to get a team put togather, I have missed a few yakfinities so blah blah blah here is my team:

security holo #003726; Concourse 2-Besh, Sector Isk-0992:
Routine scan; armed subjects identified as licensed bounty hunters. Incident files appended. No outstanding warrants. Status: transient passengers. Recommendation: Flag Yellow Protocol.

This is my son Brendan's bounty hunter team in their final shot. He pulled off everything on his own, save for base-coating the Airborne helmet, drilling the hole to mount the jetpack, and coughing up a datapad, biker scout pistol, and Indy satchel. I took care of those.

Unfortunately, my sniper team is not going to make it. June turned into a rotten month for me to accomplish much, thanks to everyone in the family getting sick, dropping a T-post driver on my head, and just miserably HOT weather that saps my ability to do anything.

However, that means I now can take the time I need to learn how to achieve some effects I wanted, but for which I lacked the skills. So, in the end, I think the figures will turn out better overall for not being finished in time for *this* deadline.

Gorgeous set! I _love_ the protocol droid as a Jedi, very creative!

So many great entries!

I myself am still partial to DOTD's entries though, I gotta say :-)

Thats a cool cargo loader droid - I can imagine seeing something like that in the CW, good part combo.

Sorry I'm so behind on commenting, but I think it's amazing how strong a turn out we had this month. Things slowed down for a week or so and I'd thought we seen pretty much all the submissions that were going to come in, the last minute surprises have been awesome!

I think, figure for figure, this has to be a record for Yakfinities by a long shot! I tried doing a tally the other night and lost count around 50 or so figures!

Everyone's really gone all out, this may be a hard project for us to ever top!

Great job everyone, I'll try to post some further comments once we see the wrap up!

Thanks DK, honestly my six year old thought up the idea for him. His back story, the only one I have really, is that his skull/face was badly damaged on the battle field, so they quickly fixed him up as best they could and placed a protocol droid face and head plate over it too keep it safe.

Now that this round is over, it will be great to see the roundup. There was such a variety of entries, that its hard to keep up with all of them!

I agree, so many fantastic entries it was hard to keep up! I still have several I need to take a closer look at.

Also, the random winner will be announced soon... I'd say Friday will be the "big day."

wow, those are some great entries, everyone has done such great work on this yakfinities challenge...... :)

stormstripper - nice group, i like how they look more martial arts oriented with all the extra clothes and bladed weapons. good work.

docoutlands - you and your son did a great job on that group of bounty hunters, especialy the one with the airborne helemt, the green grey black combo looks great. the computer read out introduction you did was very creative and entertaining, good job all around!

cuyvaldar - those are some nice jedi, the duros is my favorite i think, the protocol droid headed jedi is very creative. for using the obiwan body on 4 of these figures you really did a good job painting them different and giving them all thier own individual look, good work!

ars30 - great looking frieghter crew, all the charecters are very well done. i really like the look you achieved with the vos hair on the kota head. the droid and cargo master look great! do you have a ship in the works for them?

Thanks Js....I used to have a boat load of those obi-wans. I must have bought at least 30 of them at one time or another. Sad really lol.

Thanks for the compliments on them. The duros and the c3po are my favs of the bunch.
