I didn't see a thread for this here. I currently do not collect this line, but I decided to get a few characters (when they are released) that take me back to my childhood:

Bespin Luke
X-wing Pilot Luke
R2 (Already announced)
C3PO (Already annocunced)

Anyone here collecting this line and if so, do you buy directly from GG or from other online retailers such as EE, BBTS, etc.? Thanks!

I preordered C3POand R2 from BBTS yesterday, I am not going to collect all of them, as I said before, just waiting for Bespin and X-Wing pilot Lukes

I collect this line. To date, I have every one, including variants like VCJ, and Small Head Han. I totally love it. But I'm finding it harder and hard to display them. It's kind of a mess right now.

At first, I pre-ordered directly through Gentle Giant, but nowadays I order them through my local comic shop. I try to get everything I can from them in order to help them out. They're the only comic shop here, and I want them to stick around!

Also, I saw Luke X-Wing on your want list, and I believe they announced that at the New York Toy Fair, so you'll only need the Bespin Luke to complete your collection.

On a side note, Gentle Giant has already announced the Collector's Guild gifts for this year, and one of them is a 12" Gamorrean Guard. So for all those that want to stay on top of this line, a membership might be useful this year.

Received a note from BBTS saying that R2D2 is in-stock now but will hold it in my Pile of Loot until a few Hasbro figures arrive and will have them ship all at once.

I'm getting into this late in the game I guess but man I have fallen in love with these! I don't know where I'm going to put them but I just have to have these
So far in the last 2 weeks or so I have ordered Luke, DSC, 3PO & R2, Big Headed Han, Darth & Stormtrooper.
On the hunt for a good deal on Leia, Chewie and Tusken Raider. Ben, Jawa and Boba are apparently just impossible to get, which really sucks. I would like the first 12 for sure, and probably the first 21 as that is my collecting focus.

If anyone has anything to sell at fair prices hit me up, I'm interested. I'm kind of new here but I have I think a good rep at RS and eBay.

BBTS has a good deal on Leia ($50.14) although is listed as "sub-standard grade" though.

That POTF card with coin looks pretty sweet in the Gamorrean figure. I am passing on this one as my focus in this line is very narrow.
