Vos is pegwarming here. I agree he was not needed as this is his 4th release. Kinda silly when other characters like Nien Numb have only seen ONE thus far.
Hasbro, I keep trying to give you my money. Why do you make it so hard?

How bad is he pegwarming though? Are people seeing more than a couple of him at most stores? If not, I don't think that's a problem. I think he was a fine selection for Wave 1, but maybe should not have been carried forward in Wave 2. He's an awesome figure for custom fodder too.

Since Hasbro needed to fill out a slot in Wave 1 with a TPM character, I think it made pretty good sense to make a Jedi figure, and they were able to squeeze one in here that hadn't had a "movie" version before.

I don't see anything wrong with Vos at all - for anyone who does, what would have been a better selection instead for an all new TPM figure? Nute Gunray would have been fun, but Hasbro seems against that right now.

Hasbro should have made another Podracer(Elan Mak?) or perhaps a new Sio Bibble(Naboo Governor) instead of Vos. I was stoked about him and very impressed when he first hit, but since then I've just grown pretty blase about the guy. Seen too many of him over the past two and a half months.

Nothing against Elan or Sio Bibble, but if those figures shipped in the same quantities as Vos, I think they'd be piling up more than he has.

Meh. Who knows, you may be right. I'd love to see a new Oliver Ford Davies action figure or Elan Mak with a Pit Droid on pegs, but a whole lot of people probably wouldn't. Sio Bibble was a legendary and hard to find figure in 2000 when he came out at the very tail end of the Episode I line, but if he were made today he'd probably be easier to score than a pack of batteries or chewing gum.

Sio Bibble has been very hard to find for me. Even loose on eBay he was going for $12. Even at toy shows, I rarely saw him. Luckily this last year I found him loose with comtech chip for $8. I had heard that he was going to get released this year or next but I could be wrong.

As for Vos, I'm seeing almost as many of him hanging around as Qui Gon and Obiwan. He's a great figure and I got him. I just think its too many too soon of him. There's a million other figures that are in need more so. They just released a "take back Theed" Padme in Movie Heroes. Its lackluster. They could've easily made a better Vintage version in place of Vos. Just my two cents.

Given the fact that Sio Bibble had some dialogue in ATTACK OF THE CLONES it's possible we might get a brand new version based on the second prequel in 2013 when it comes back into theaters. Sio's appearance in CLONES is almost identical to the way he looked in SITH(Padme's funeral procession at the end of the film) so Hasbro could kill two birds with one stone if they crank out a new Sio for the 3-D release of Episode II. With Vintage allegedly taking a hiatus next year I wonder if he'd be a TVC release or part of a more CLONES-oriented line similar to, say, Movie Heroes.

I'm all for a new Sio Bibble - I just think if he's made, he needs to be kinda limited... maybe in quantities like Ponda Baba was or something... speaking of such, Ponda was a little too hard to find. I saw a handful of him, but only over a 2-week span.

I could see Sio being made in Vintage Wave 9 quantities. Enough to whet collectors' appetites but not so many that we end up with a Sandtrooper or Endor Han Solo situation where we're having to stare at all the unsold figures of the guy months after his wave comes and goes. Being the first Sio Bibble in about thirteen years would help add to his initial sales but Hasbro wouldn't need to go ape about putting a whole lot of him on the market...after all, secondary or tertiary characters who do nothing but talk and in only a handful of scenes spread across two or three entire films aren't going to get the kiddies excited.

I received two more Boba Fett's in the mail yesterday if anyone is interested to buy or trade.

The Malgus wave showed up in my mail on Monday, and I got a second loose Darth Malgus today for my TOR diorama. And I have no idea how to display/use his wire hood cloak. Any ideas????

Got another Vintage Collection Admiral Ackbar for nine bucks this morning. Justin's toy shop had just put him on the wall pegs and I thought "what the heck." It was the original Wave 3 version with the cardback showing the incorrect Yoda card design as well the original Jedi Luke packaging that was changed shortly thereafter to a new name and photo.

Can't wait to find that Bespin Han re-release myself! He's one of just a small handful of figures in the Vintage Collection line I don't have. Here's my current list of what I don't yet have:

VC28 Wedge Antilles
VC50 Han Solo(Bespin Outfit)
VC56 Kithaba(Skiff Guard)
VC58 Aayla Secura
VC59 Nom Anor
VC60 Clone Trooper(501st Legion)
VC66 Salacious Crumb
VC67 Mouse Droid

I have at least one mint-on-card of every other Vintage figure thus far and am completely caught up with the first three waves of 2012. Quite frankly I don't think there's much of a likelihood that I'll get my hands on the two SDCC exclusive mini-figures in the line...not unless they nosedive in price on eBay, provided any more of them even show up on eBay in the first place. I haven't seen any carded Mouse Droids or Crumbs listed for bids or sale in a good long while.
