Well they officaly revealed it at C5 and it's confirmed to be a whole entire new sculpt except for the wings. I don't really know if I want to pick this one up or not since I have the TAC version already and I'm fine with that one but a newly supdated cockpit and other features is nice. I'll have to wait and see what the retail prcie is going to be, betting on $39.99.

Saw this at Wal-Mart today... $38.88?

Good Lord.

For that price, one can go to Target and get a kickass Hoth Battle Pack with a LOT more included.

does it have a pilot?
is the packaging the same size as jabba?
if so then h can possible package some new products in this slot

I'll find what you want/ But there's gonna be a cost

Pilot is not included... box size is similar to the Jabba one I believe, though this one is thicker. They were sold out of Jabbas so I could not compare.

It's prbably a really nice sculpt, but i didn't see anythig wrong witht he old one.
If i wanted figures like Rebels and Legends series i'd build a time machine. Even if i did want them, i'd probably still need a time machine..

It's pretty much the same thing, just a few tweaks.

Oh ok i thought it was a complete new sculpt, strange though that they didn't add a figure, or are they rlying on the TIE Pilot in the forth coming sets.

When i see this in my local sci fi shop the box looks wider than the jabba box by the way.

Expensive, but damn, the TIE Bomber is one of my favourite Imperial designs. I love the little background story on the Scimitar Assault Wing, featured in ye ol' WestEnd Imperial Sourcebook 8)

I was at my local Walmart earlier today, and they have the Tie Bomber on display, it's $38.97. I could of bought one, but instead I found some SOTDS and Vintage figures, and the Cloud car. I couldn't afford the Tie Bomber yet, maybe for Christmas if they're still around at retail.

Here's two photos I took.

This is one that with an insane 38.97 price I will pass unless I find it at clearance. I know some people complain about people waiting for clearance but with ridiculous prices like this I will wait. If Hasbro/retailers want to sell more stop the crazy prices. They price this at 25-30.00 and they would sell a lot more. It is cool but not at that price.

Cool seeing that many at once... but really, I just can't justify that price. I think this thing should include at least a figure if it's going to cost that much.

I bought it today

mine has some rough areas on the sides of the cylinders closest to each other
I wish I had the vocabulary to better describe these flaws

the seams of the cylinders have some discolorations similar to the way plastic turns white when it's chipped
and the rough areas are all along the seams on both
these flaws can't be seen from the front, but looking at it from above gets me annoyed considering how much this cost

I hope but the Walmarts near me are still sitting on plenty of Dewbacks in the clearance aisle at 30.00, what a joke.
