Hello all,

Its been awhile since I posted on this and a few other other sites. Still doing customs just haven't been posting on the forums. But I'm back . So here's my newest, Bao-Dur. I've never tackled this figure before and was very happy with finished result. The Head is Darth Bane with horns glued to it, Body is G.I.Joe Recondo, Legs are G.I.Joe ROC Heavy Duty. and the blue arm is Heavy Duty's glove with a Holo-Aylaa Secure arm and electricity effect wrapped around it.

That's one terrific fig! I'm really liking what can be done with the Joe bodies out there and this is one of the best I've seen.

The additions and paint you applied to the head sculpt turned out nicely; almost couldn't tell you used a Bane head if you hadn't mentioned it. I love the green color and the brown(?) wash you applied to the chest area, looks very good. My favorite piece is the left metallized arm and just how good it looks in proportion to the rest of the fig.

I have two of these Recondo bodies that have been just sitting in my fodder box waiting to be repurposed...I think I might want to return to them now!

Wow - that's amazing!

While I don't really like Joe styling on SW figures that much due to the hips and seam on the thighs, this is absolutely wonderful work. I can't believe how great this looks and it's by far the best rendition of this character that I've seen anyone make... and check out the "electro" or whatever arm... I remember that really setting that character apart in the game.

Hey stocos28,

told you before and do again:
I've seen quite some customs of Bao-Dur but that one beats all of them.
I know your fascination about GI Joe figures used as a base because of their
improved articulation and looking at that masterpiece, you're right.

Please post more of your breathtaking (SW) stuff as soon as you finished your next projects.
Masterfully executed!

Wow, I haven't been keeping myself up to date with your work, buddy. I clicked back a few pages and really like what I see. Love your take on Mr. Glass, a very great 'what-if' version. The other one I remember quite clearly was indeed DanoftheDead's.

Malgus' Master looks stunning as well and you did a mighty fine job on that headsculpt.

Same goes for Bao Dur, incredible capture of that character. Horns could've been pointier, but that's just a minor thing. The paint apps on this head are damn near perfect.

PM sent as well, very interested to see what you have in store :D

Agreed! Did exactly the same and again have to say that especially your various Malgus versions, Dr. Demagol (yeah!!!) and of course Darth Malak are real eye-catchers.

And heh, the Malak head is one of the casted heads which is even cooler.
You rock!

Your new website is awesome.

Saved it as one of my favourite sites.

PLEASE, make a headcast of Lord Starkiller (Hoth) soon; I really need one
and failed sculpting one myself...several times.

Cool, Mike, absolutely cool!
