Just wanted to say how fantastic your Rebel Fleet Trooper looks. It's amazing how something as simple as the mustache, brows and sideburns you made, makes it look like a totally different person than Captain Needa. Han and Luke are great too.

Thanks, darthapathy - I like doing these little changes, they add variety at a little cost :)

Some fantastic work ! It is amazing how a simple change can enhance a figure . I have to say that was one of the first things i did to the fleet trooper the moment i had a few extra of them lol . Well done

Thanks, mrjedi1977 :)

Here is my slight repaint of Finn from the Walmart Black series. I repainted the eyes and eyebrows and gave a darker wash to his jacket, and some additional dirt to his feet. Overall the figure is great and didn't need much to be perfect :)

The other new acquisition was the TVC 501st Clonetrooper - a rarity these days, managed to score one from viperskingdom (wish I had a few more). I did the same I did to all Vintage mold Clones - changed the helmet with one from the earlier SA Clone. The color matched, the helmet stays in place with the help of some Greenstuff. Minor battle damage was added. His helmet went to the body of Saga Legends trooper, which is also nice, but his body yellowed terribly with time. I am going to have to repaint it somehow. Here they are with the ROTS trooper, which looks best when stabbed by Yoda :)

And a final pic of the TVC troopers I have customized so far, well, most of them :) IMO they all look better with these helmets.

Finally, after years of waiting for the right price, managed to snag Feltipern Trevagg :) He had some stains on his tunic, hence the lower price, I guess. I fixed that easily and washed with darker paint the face and hands - fantastic detail and overall a great figure. If Hasbro returns to this amount of articulation for creatures and aliens, I'll be OK.

I also got two of the new Rogue One Stormtroopers. Fantastic sculpt, again - much better then the Movie Heroes one. I quickly changed the pose of the arms of one, so he can hold his gun properly. Cut, insert wire, reposition, sculpt with Greenstuff. Added the missing paint details, too. The wrists are articulated with the help of plastic toothpicks (seen from forum member Utinniii), so there's even some mobility - he's not a total statue :) Honestly, I'd take a few more of these - unfortunately they stand out from the previous versions, being so wonderfully white and shiny. The last pic is a comparison with the MH version and the BlS SA version.

Nice troopers. The paint improvements on all of your troopers really improve them. The paint on the gotal is also great!

Thanks for the kind words and thanks for the front page mention, Chewie :) In fact your clone customs gave me the idea to replace all the helmets of my TVC clones. It's beyond me why Hasbro refuses to make this simple fix.

I just noticed I said you had a lot of resolution :P , I meant to say you did amazing on the customs. Don't ask how I even messed up that bad.

I don't enjoy adding articulation. I'd rather sculpt or create molds. That being said, seeing how cool these Stormmies look, I'm tempted to take a knife to the one's I've bought.
