Lets be fair, the big AT-AT is gigantic. This looks about the same size as the vintage AT-AT, which is also pretty big. It is not a small toy by any stretch.

I can't believe that guy on Facebook got two of them, that's crazy. Good for him.

Holy crap I would have gotten another in a second too!

Rebelscum really had nothing good to say about the AT-ACT. I think they were a little harsh, I don't have any other 3 inch scale AT-AT so I thought it was a good purchase for me, and I like the Nerf firing feature. Really freaks out my dogs. ;)

I definitely think it's a cool toy, just not $300 cool for me.

Yeah that price tag is ridiculous, I think they are just trying to snag the desperate holiday shopping parent with that one. After X-mas they will go down. I think in a few years they will be around 100 bucks, free shipping.

I posted my review of the AT-ACT. Here's the link for those interested in watching. https://youtu.be/TOs4UQX1XQ0

It's a fun toy. Also, after shooting the video I let my kids play with the vehicle for a bit and they had a blast with it.

Anyone having issues with the firing mechanism on their AT-ACT?

Got mine in the mail today. My son goes bonkers and sets up our Rogue One figures while I put it together.

Then I get a fresh set of batteries in it, turn it on, it walks great - press the NERF button, and the NERF hatch opens - but no bullet will come out. Nothing looks jammed. The button makes a sound, but it won't shoot. It makes different sounds if the top figure hatch is open or closed - but won't shoot. And the NERF hatch won't close at all.

Image

My kid cried. I almost threw the damn thing as hard as I could onto the sidewalk. I'm so pissed... I defended this thing despite its setbacks, despite the overkill with the NERF feature... and it doesn't even work and ruins the look of the walker with the hatch open.

If I can't figure this out tonight, going to be returning it, which I really don't want to have to go through the hassle. What a pain in the A$$, Hasbro. :x :!:

Should have taken an unboxing video "from elation to tears " and have your son blast the "stupid nerf feature " and post it to Hasbro.

Seriously, that sucks to get it together and have something like that fail. Maybe Hasbro will send a new one and say keep the defective one?
