It's coming in late Sept., early Oct. If you search variety.com you're bound to find the press release for it being picked up before the first season ended, which said it would be the fall.

wow. WOW. WOW!!!!!!

Ki-Adi-Mundi, in his traditional Jedi tunic, sports an eye patch, so no wonder they're taking the risk on making that concept figure with the eye patch.

Did I see mandos with flamethrowers, a la concept Boba Fett???

Looks really fantastic, a real treat to be sure!! When does it start up?

I know i always picture Mandalore a bit more gritty, mechanical and dirty like their armour and vehicles, but hey that is one cooll pic still.

The Clone Wars: Season Two

Postby YAK_Jayson » Thu Jul 30, 2009 2:11 pm

There is a strong theory provided by Yakreader "Georgia Jedi" that Mark "Luke Skywalker" Hamill maybe returning to Star Wars, not in body but possibly through lending his voice to the new Mandalorian leader in the upcoming Season of The Clone Wars!

Here is his theory:

A few days ago, when SW.com posted a summary from the SW Spectacular at Comic Con, I tried to post a couple of replies which Lucas Inc. is still holding in limbo.

Anyway, I believe that the voice of the new Mandalorian leader featured at the end of the Season 2 teaser is provided by none other than Mark Hamill, a guy who has done a ton of toon work over the years. Three reasons.

1) For starters, the voice sounds like Hamill, particularly something about the way he says "Jedi."

2) Also, Lucas Inc, in the official verbiage about the new season in the SW Spectacular article itself, mentions an "oddly familiar" new voice in the cast. This, of course, is almost exactly what Luke said about Dagobah when he was talking to R2 before Yoda showed up.

3) Now, of course, Lucas Inc is holding my speculative posts in limbo and not allowing them to post.

IMHO, it sounds more like Jon Favreau than Mark Hamill...

Beyond the mandos, which are catching everyones attention, I'm really excited to see a return to Geonosis and Felucia, along with familiar secondary Jedi like Ki-Adi Mundi. I hope to see a storyline with Shaak Ti and the planet Felucia, to set the stage for why she might have chosen that planet to exile herself on after order 66...
