I wonder if this will house a pilot figure or have any opening compartment.
If that is metric then how big is it, I don't really know the conversion

It looks to be over a 12" in diameter (2.54 cm = 1")

As for the cockpit, the answer is yes as you can see the hinge near the edge of the blue cockpit area.

This really cool, always liked this vehicle even if it would at home in the terminator lol.

About time the Sep's got an air vehicle that isn't a starfighter.

Looks as though there's a handle too, though I would prefer some sort of landing gear.

Does anyone have an action shot of this vehicle from the cartoon?

I just can't place the vehicle in the series.

It hasn't appeared in the Clone Wars cartoon (yet), just in ROTS. But since is a prequel era vehicle, it'll be sold under the Clone Wars brand/name plate.

Small preview image:

Today we've received a couple small preview pics of the Xanadu Blood and HMP (Heavy Missile Platform), two of the upcoming Clone Wars vehicles that we can expect to see at Toyfair next month. As you can see, the HMP looks pretty faithful to the ROTS deco, while Cad Bane's fighter looks to have more of a subdued color scheme when compared to the Titanium counterpart.

Thanks to our Yakora spy for his latest intel.

I'm really happy that they're giving the Seps some flying fire power. I'll grab two of these.

Yeah - and also nice that it looks like the days of pristine clean ships in the CW line might be coming to a halt!

I hope so. I've always felt that the clone wars stuff should have a gritty look. You can imagine my disapointment when I oulled the Clone wars Torrent V wing fighter out of the packaging. It looked like someone had scrubbed it clean. :?

I've felt the same way with all the CW stuff. I would have probably bought a couple more of the Republic Tanks and Torrent Star Fighters if Hasbro had given them a more realistic deco.

At least the Tank Droid turned out good in terms of the paint due to its subdued color.
