Maybe this was a test to see if it worked? And if so maybe will get the darktrooper, i don't think Ephant Mon would be a good idea in these numbers as it would not be that attractive to kids and many collectors probably are happy with the one they've got.
If i wanted figures like Rebels and Legends series i'd build a time machine. Even if i did want them, i'd probably still need a time machine..

my local TRU never got this; I had to go across town to get it when I did

and I'm glad I got it when I did because I haven't seen it on the pegs since
even the peg tag is gone

If this release was a test to see if people would pay twice the basic figure price for one large figure, I dont think its much of a success. I went to TRU a few days ago and they had about 2 dozen of these.

When the stores around my area got these in back in July/August, they all went through a couple dozen with 2-3 days.

They both put more out about two weeks ago, and have sold through at least half of them. So in my area at least, Kul Teska seems rather popular... which is cool considering I bet most people who get him have no idea who he is and are buying him because he looks cool and is massive.

In a nutshell, I feel he's well worth the price of two regular figures.

I bought one of these, but returned it. And neither of my nephews wanted one. I wasn't really impressed with it to be honest with you.

Still quite a few here at both TRU stores in my area. When they first got them in, they sold fast. Then no sign of him for a couple months... but the second and third shipments have sold a lot slower.

I think people realized he is not so cool and not even in the TV show.

It makes you wonder, why Hasbro will spend money on tooling this guy and not tool main characters up :o

Exactly! They say they can not do a dark trooper as he would require special packaging! As if this lame boss from a lame video game is that much more special.

Yeah there are plenty on the shelves still here in the UK, even though i have one and it's a cool figure i still wonder why Hasbro took a risk and made it, he wasn't in demand by fans and most people had not heard of him because he was in a game. :?

They probably assumed the game would be a bigger hit, and kids / collectors would want this character because it was unique to the game. They should have went with a Nightsister from one of the CW video games, since they have been in the cartoon as well - I think a figure like that would have more appeal, and they could charge the regular price rather than double. TRU is great when it comes to those 'free figure with $30 purchase' offers, but Kul is $15, so not many kids can buy it on their own and not many parents would would to pay twice the price for a figure, when they can buy a regular CW or Legends figure for half that.
