Remote Control Hailfire Droid

Postby YAK_Chewie » Tue Jul 20, 2010 12:45 pm

Found this at TRU today - there were two of them. Easy pass at $59.99, plus the vehicle itself just doesn't look too good as it's too bulky. Probably a fun little toy, but those missiles would be lost in no time too... this is certainly not for me.

Here's a pic I snapped with my crap phone.

easy pass for me

I might have considered it if the clone had some kind of exclusive deco, but with it being plain, I can say "no thanks" and have no regrets

I'm just fine with my Kashyyyk one back from the 30th Anniversary. The wheels are way to bulky, would have prefured a whole new sculpt without remote control.

I'd rather have a remote control Jawa Sandcrawler.

$59.99 for this is way too expensive

even half the price is still too much

$30 for a remote control vehicle is too expensive? In case you haven't noticed, remote control vehicles arn't cheap these days and to top it off this one has firing missles which adds more electronic to the device.

Doh! the price for this is spot on for what it can do, but the concept is what should be called into question. Of all the SW stuff to make RC, you go with a hailfire? the smart money would have been on the Turbotank, or landspeeder, anything but a throwaway droid anti-air platform. Sheesh!

I would have tried for an RC AT-TE personally. :: Shrug::

Scored one for $27.99 they had several of them with the Mid Size vehicle tag by them, so they had to give it to me at that price. In all not to bad a toy but wouldn't pay $60 for it.
Will sell blood for Hasbro Figures.
