As for the episode last night it was amazing. They had many aspects i that episode I enjoyed. First when Rick and Hershal were "debating" about staying and Maggie see's that. I really found that part powerful.
Then Shane and Dale. Man things are heating up with those two. I really don't see what Dale was thinking tho.? I mean that is in a way putting the whole camp in danger if Walkers attacked. But that last thing Dale said,"Your perfect for this world Shane..The difference between us is when the world went to **** I didn't let it take me with it"
Onto the final scene. I really I hate to say it but liked the way Shane dealt with Hershal. Putting all the shots in that Walker. Arteries,Heart multiple body shots. Then when Rick says that thats enough and Shane goes "Yeah it is" and puts one right in the head you could see Hershal almost dye inside there. And Sophia man, I think they really shaped Rick's Character there. How Shane has been going on about Rick not being suited for this type of world and nobody could bring themselve to do it but Rick.
Also I love how it is really starting to show Glenn and Maggie caring for each other that's great. Just like the comics.

Now on to next season, what I saw of the Preview made it look like they were calling in the Hunters ? I don't now if anyone is familiar with those comic issues but if they are it's pretty early. If anyone wants I can fill them in on the hunters..

Well I had the spoiler and I hate that it was accurate, but I do admit the whole thing turned out much better than I exected it to.

I call Daryl the winner of the season half though, he really got a bunch of cool stuff, part of me wants to buy a crossbow now.

Edit: also for you guys who would like a bit of fun from the Walking Dead, I found a site called the Laughing Dead, it's got a good amount of funny content including (some of my faves):

I have to say I really, really love the comic much more than the show, however now in the town I moved to Ihave to wait for trades as no one carries the single issues at all. Weird as in my old town it was the best selling book bar none. Anyway the part that upset me about that is now I have a disruption in my TWD streak from issue 1 (Although I was thinking of selling off some of them anyway).

So, now that this has picked back up, who saw the first episode of the Season 2.2?

I did, and liked it - even though one might argue that not too much happened, I think the poing here was to show old man Herschel changing his views, and seeing things eye to eye with Rick... and what Rick did to those punks - YES!

Will be interesting to see what happens with Lori... I'm assuming Rick will find her car on his way back...

I think there was some great character growth between Ric and Hershel. They had some powerful dialogue and you could really feel for both characters. And then Ric really stepped up and showed some amazing leadership. Which he really needs to do more of. And hopefully next episode it does continue as sometimes the show takes a step forward and a then step back.

My understanding is that the creative teams are a bit more stable now, the Durabount thing really got a whole lot of mess going and the show suffered a bit from my understanding. Nevermind the fact that turmoil didn't need to happen at the most boreing part of the comic as well (The farm) which caused that lose pace, ect.

On Lori, one of the previews shows her kicking some undead butt next week. Oh and the guys had buddies apparently (one preview hints one of them gotes back to the farm with Rick and Co., perhapes not of his free will either).

I think I know who these guys might be, which will lead into what I think will be one of the biggest deals on TV ever if it comes to pass (Please understand I don't give into hyperbole too often either, but even though the series doesn't follow the comic, there are points everyone who has read the comic know will happen in some form and know will be a huge deal, hell fans have talked it to death since the show began airing).

The second episode was pretty damn good, eh? Looks like Rick and Shane are going to duke it out... did you guys see how nuts and insane that Rick looked at the end of last week's episode when Lori was talking to him? Dang!

Also, I loved how they got out of that town and Rick ripped that dude off the fence... there was also some very bloody and nasty stuff in that 5-minute span, with the guy getting his face ripped off... not to mention a bad ass side starting to emerge out of old man Hershel!

I love this series.
