Family always comes first, of course. For the last few years all I've really sacrificed is sleep because I usually only work on this stuff late at night.

I'm committed to this though, as long as it doesn't become a burden. Just will have bigger gaps between chapters moving forward.

Don't take this the wrong way, but Its cool to hear that your wife doesn't like you working on "this stuff"
My wife HATES star wars and everything it entails. She is just now okay with the customizing, she sees
it as a "healthy" hobby, but she hates the rest. She also only supports the customs and scale modelling
if it doesn't interfere with family. And with two little girls, 15 credit hours, and home work there isn't
much time for customs. So it is nice to hear other guys experience family frictions with the hobby.
Great work as always Chewie, I've about doing some models myself, but again time is a factor.

I'm with you on the responsibility stuff, it's amazing you manage to produce the work you do under the circumstances. My wife is the same...perhaps we should go to Comic-Con and trade them in for a couple of Leia's in Slave Girl costumes!

Give me a shout if you're up for it!

This is a great piece of creativity... I only write short bios & backstories for my customs & have a crapton of dio parts that I desparately need to "conglomerate" into a workable set... that & my camera is bunk are really holdin' me back from doin' full blown scenes or vignettes... along w/ not havin' & not knowin' how to use photo effects software --- I feel ya on the wifey issues bro... mine is supportive, but, when I become "obsessive/possessed" by my hobby she has to bring me back to Earth... recent setbacks in my own personal health (Type 1 diabetic - insulin dependent) have forced me to take an indeterminate leave from work - so I do the Mr. Mom thing right now until I can land a job that isn't as physically demanding... so I have more time during the days to devote to customs --- enough about my issues (not tryin' to derail the thread) This is VERY well done & I will be checkin' out more of this - Great stuff Chewie!!! Also I think your customs rock man!

Thanks, I appreciate you taking the time to read my photonovel and to share some thoughts too.

Yeah, the right camera for this stuff really makes a lot of difference. I need a new camera badly, mine is so outdated and cheap compared to what a lot of people use. As for photo effects, if you download a free trial at http://www.ulead.com that is the program I use - mine is outdated though, I think I have the 2007 version.

Good luck with the health/work situation - just take care of yourself and hope to see you around the forums more. :)

I am beyond delighted to see the return of the Rykrof Enloe saga to the forums!!

This is one of the best looking photonovels I've ever seen. The bright, washed out look is outstanding, it really does feel like a desolate alien world with the sun (suns?) beating down! Simply incredible.

The custom work is typically amazing. Loving the new Tylin, looking older, haggard and more sinister than ever!

The story is a great teaser to hook us in as the series returns. Can't wait to see this continue.

(But I don't think you should have put the base on Dantooine, as I think it creates a weird continuity conflict with the Dantooine referenced by Leia in SW) :)

Lance, your back!

Thanks for the feedback buddy, I appreciate it a lot. I'm glad you like how the images turned out, it was just dumb luck that they turned out with that sort of light effect. Also really pleased that you like the progression of Tylin.

As for the Dantooine setting, I tried to illustrate that Tylin was rogue here, as in not making his superiors know that he had found a Rebel base on Dantooine. So in a way, I was hoping that it could possibly mean that this was the base that the Imperials later found in ANH (a stretch, I know - but it was intended to be left up to the reader to leave that open to see it any way they want).

Thanks again buddy! I am making significant progress on the next chapter's diorama setting! I'll try and get some pics up soon!

I don't think it's too much of a stretch. I figure Leia would never have named a base that was actually being used at the time and knowing that the base on Dantooine hadn't been used "in some time" lends credibility to your photonovel idea. After a raid, I'm sure the rebels were very careful not too go back to the same place again in case it was under surveillance.

Thanks Trooper31, that's pretty much how I'm seeing it too. Plus, there is a reason I wanted to have it on Dantooine, which will be explained later on. There's a resident on that planet who appeared briefly in a previous chapter that is going to be very relevant to the story.

Star Wars: The Return of Enloe.

Chewie,

I am tickled to death to see your side story continue. Thank you for returning to this wonderful universe. I look forward to the Enloe Chronicles on many levels.

1) It is a good story. We all love this universe and you have created characters that make sense in this far away galaxy.

2) We see real character development --Tylin is a great example. So too is Shundi. Dialogue is better than the prequels.

3) Your ability to mix and match parts creating new figures is really special. Your keen paint stroke and great eye for "cobbling" together different pieces is really inspiring. I don't think I can sculpt but I know how to boil and pop. I also know that with the right tools I can paint existing materials alright. Your figures give me ideas. I have a figure and might have two for the Cloud City Denizens.

Keep up the great work!

Hey there UKHistory, great to see you over here! I appreciate the feedback a lot. The series is still a lot of fun for me, it's just a struggle to find time for it. But I've made a lot of customs for new chapters, and still working on new diorama sets. :)

Hope to see your Cloud City customs for the Yakfinities, that will be fun to see!
