2012 Star Wars Celebration VI

Being a teenage Star Wars fan and living in the Midwest, I never had the means to be able to goto a Celebration. Even though Celebration 2 and 3 were held in Indianapolis, I couldnt get there. I'd really like to see a celebration held in Chicago or within the Chicagoland Area

I can't believe the autograph page hasn't been updated since the site went online

if I don't see who will be in the autograph hall real soon, I will know for sure that I wont be attending

I loved C5. Best convention I'd ever been to. My wife and I plan on going this year too. But it just seems that there's not as much hype this time around. Not many announcements to get people excited. And yes, at this point, they SHOULD have some guests listed by now.

I started looking at flights and they are running at least $500 each, so it seems very unlikely I'll be making it. Have a good place to stay, but the plane may just kill it for me.

I want something hefty, not just a figure

or maybe that Vader Funeral Pyre we were shown a while back

or a box set of ewoks? or the original Max Rebo band?

As much as I'd love to see it, the ORIGINAL Max Rebo Band will never happen because of Lucasfilm. Unfortunately, we're stuck with the CG Snootles. Though we are still way overdue for a rerelease of those. Speaking of bands, we are WAAAAAY overdue for a new cantina band. These are figures that should have been on a vintage card back in 1979, yet today we still only have the mail away sculpt.

As for the Ewok box set, they are releasing one but haven't announced how we will see that, so its entirely possible it will be at CVI.

Emperor with throne? I am so there. And it would go perfect as a battlepack. Emperor with throne, Vader, and Luke. Hasbro loves to put Vader in everything and they have a coulpe decent Luke scuplts. This is a no brainer. But considering Hasbro has no brain to begin with....
