Indiana Jones Battle Packs

Postby Paulskywalker » Sat Jun 21, 2008 12:38 pm

More news on the BP's

http://www.indianajonescollectors.com/

IJC: We've heard talks of Indiana Jones Battle Packs. Which movies and or scenes will be represented in the battle packs? Will they be just standard figure battle packs, or can we expect other accessories like we see with some of the Star Wars Battle Packs. Opening of the Ark Battle Pack with Ark ghosts would be way cool!

H: Details on the initial Battle Packs, which will be retailer exclusives, will be revealed at Comic-Con International. Like our first Star Wars Battle Packs, the IJ Battle Packs will start out with primarily existing character decos, delivered in a combination that makes a complete play pattern for kids and kids alike.

Probably going to see really good paint jobs on these though...

You know, if these are at $20 and have 5 figures... that's going to be a much better deal than paying $7 per figure.

NOOOOOOOOO. ENOUGH with the f***ing exclusives! I was hoping the IJ line would stay exclusive free, but noooo, we can't have that! :x

Like our first Star Wars Battle Packs, the IJ Battle Packs will start out with primarily existing character decos...

So, based on the amount of Indy figs we've gotten, what the heck kind of battle packs could they whip up from the existing figures? Only thing I can think of is some sort of Cairo Streets themed battle pack.

... delivered in a combination that makes a complete play pattern for kids and kids alike.

So, they're not thinking of the collectors here. Nice. :P

Both Target exclusives...

Pretty nifty on the Tank set... especially considering how blasted hard it is to find Vogel and Henry.

The Raiders set, I'll grab that too. But it looks like it says the price on that one is $29.99, while the Crusade set is $19.99...?

Wow, some very good battle packs. I may buy both of them, even though I won't "need" the figures themselves.

I may get the Cairo just for the great backdrop! Would make a fantastic display!

The packaging is very reminiscent of the cinema scenes.

It appears that Henry Jones Sr is missing the accessories that make him such a good figure -- the hat, the spectacles, etc

I wonder that myself about the accessories. Are they going to come with their accessories that they came with on card, maybe just in the box? I guess we will have to wait and see in October.

So just picked up the dvd at target. the 2 disc version. Pretty cool little photo book case included. They were selling these battle packs too. A pretty good deal. 5 figures and you get it for $15 if you buy the movie. I almost picked up the last crusade pack, but i really didn't need another indy and henry. the vogal and soliders made me think about it though.

on another dvd indy note on the feature they go over possible names for the film and one of them was almost indy and the saucer men.......yikes

Grabbed the Last Crusade set since it will probably be the only time I see Henry and Vogel.
Will sell blood for Hasbro Figures.
