With a change in scale, I'm likely out completely. Some of the 4-inch scale Epic figures were close enough, and I enjoyed them, but these won't fit in with 3.75 displays, unless you are looking for Frankenstein figures.

A bit disappointed personally, but if kids are into them, it'll be a good thing for Hasbro and the brand.

Yeah, the scale change is not great. I understand they are aimed at a younger audience, but still... it's dumb.

The best thing about these may be the packaging. This is the first time in forever that the artwork aesthetic for a Star Wars kid line actually pops.

Same here. I'll pick up Vader and a stormtrooper but that's probably it. It's pretty disappointing since Epic was putting out some pretty good toys.

I actually don't think those look too bad, when it comes to toys intended for a much younger audience - still no appeal to me as an adult collector that's only into 3.75 scale though. My only issue is the timing - why release these this year, with a new movie coming out? It reminds me of the decision to do 5-inch animated TROS figures - I absolutely loathed those damn figures, because that choice denied all 3.75 collectors a basic figure option for the movie. Not having a 3.75 option outside of TVC for the upcoming Mando movie might be another epic failure on their part.

Yeah, for what they are... aimed at very young kids... ok... it's kind of a gateway to Star Wars, I guess... by introducing some of the most recognizable characters there are and just trying to hook some younglings to start finding interest in the brand.

I will say though that the packaging is pretty decent and finally something aimed at kids that at least has eye catching packaging.

As you can see from the pics above, the Stormtrooper's head pops right off and back on. He comes with 2 rifles, a small blaster, and regular blaster. Has a pauldron and backpack as well. All the pieces attach to the rack snugly so they won't fall off easily. Darth Vader comes with his lightsaber, a gauntlet, a mouse droid, and a shield that looks like one of the various TIE designs. His cape and skirt are plastic but there's openings on the sides of the skirt to allow for leg movement. Snagged one of my other Vaders that needs to be dusted for comparison. I gotta say that as a kid I would've had fun with a stormtrooper that can have giant rifles attached to his arms while he holds his other two blasters. My brain has already decided that Darth Vader's shield is like a TIE version of Falcon's Redwing or Laserbeak in Transformers.

These Mando & Grogu reveals are actually pretty great in Actionverse, as they feel like a proper movie lineup compared to the TVC or TBS reveals. I only wish that these were proper 3.75 scale releases, as 4.5 scale just isn't going to mesh well most likely. I'd happily buy a $10 Zeb, if he didn't look like a purple Hulk. These are POTF2 wave 1 on steroids. Maybe kids are going to be into them, but with the scale difference, I think that they're pushing away 3.75 collectors.

I'll pick up the droid and maybe Zeb. The Anzellan and Grogu vehicle is kind of boring. The AT-RT with driver is pretty frickin' cool.

I don’t know why they do this. Hasbro could double dip from 3.75 collectors on this stuff. Instead, neither collectors or kids will buy it.

It's beyond me why Hasbro isn't doing a supplemental 3.75 assortment for all consumers, when TVC is clearly not going to cover the character diversity needed for a film release. I might buy the Anzellans ship as it's an ideal mini-rig, but the figure scale isn't going to work.
