I have a feeling there’s going to be a scene that shows them very closeup boarding the ship and it being quite large, and then there’s a punch line with Mando standing near it watching them and it’s the size of a shoebox.

I'm certainly glad to have picked up one - really dig the sturdy POTF2 style builds. Oddly enough, I like the 5 POA sculpts just as much, if not more than the 9 POA upgrades in this assortment. I also like how they're all "clean" no battle-damaged deco, which sets them apart from TVC. The Paz in TVC was great, and hyper realistic, so I'm happy this version is significantly different. Same goes for Axe, and he's got a bit of an EU appearance, from a vague memory of a bulky video game character. The female Mando is clearly too tall, but a Phasma type stature adds variety to a display - plus the deco is great (almost like a clan Wren remnant), even though I'm not much for Hasbro created characters. I like the set to the point where I might have to track down more from the Epic assortments, as I only have a handful of them.

I guess Lucasfilm is calling it an AT-AT even though there appears to be some differences between this model and the one from ESB? I could see if they named it something like AT-AT/a (or whatever designation it would be). Maybe we'll have to wait for the visual guide for this to be rectified?

Boba Fett's gauntlet changed between films and I think some of Vader's chest buttons were changed between films.

It does say Imperial Remnant though, so it could be argued that canonically it's a slightly newer model or has been repaired with whatever is handy.

I suppose you’re right. The remnant Snowtrooper is a little different along with the AT-AT driver.

Well locally speaking, the previous ActionEpicVerse iterations sold really well at Walmart for awhile. Well today it didn't look like many of the figures have been bought yet but maybe the movie will change that. We really need a kids line to catch on because in the next 5 years age and american health are going to hit the hobby really hard.

Same around here, the Epic stuff did pretty decently, based on what I saw moving off the pegs. Honestly wish they would have stuck with it, because I probably would have bought some of those from the new movie, but Actionverse isn't going to work for me. The Anzellan starship is a maybe, but those little figures are larger than their TBS counterparts - definitely not close to 3.75 scale, lol.

I wish they'd stuck with the last iteration as well. Fit with TVC well enough for some collectors to pick up some and toyetic enough to drive away other collectors so kids had a chance at 'em. My biggest concern is that it ends up like Transformers where they re-do Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, and Starscream every year but instead it's just Mando, Vader, Stormtrooper, Darth Maul, Chewbacca, and Grogu every year.

For anyone still looking for the Epic version of Captain Brutus, Amazon has it for $6 today. I never spotted this at retail, and it surprisingly never made it to discount outlets either, so I figured I'd grab one online during this sale.
A good chunk of the Epic stuff never seemed to reach any stores at all.
