Cody, however, appears to be a straight repack with no changes at all. I suppose for a repack Cody makes perfect sense....he is, after all, a leading Clone in both the animated and live-action formats.

He is a good seller around here for what that's worth. Cody doesn't last too long on most local pegs....he's one of the select few Clone Wars figures from 2012 that doesn't collect dust.

Obi-Wan and Anakin have new parts (again). Rex has new legs, R2 is repaint of the CW Build-a-Droid mold (R7-D4) and the Battle Droid has new arms.

Thanks for the info.

Theres no way I'd buy another Anakin or Obi-wan in these same outfits anyway - and like I mentioned - arent 3 coming in the Mission Series line? I like the R2 figure, so if it indeed gets packed in the MS line, I may grab one - just wish the 3PO was animated too (or a different droid). I like the 501st trooper, but correct me if I'm wrong - its not an actual character, or even seen in the show, right?

A bit disappointing after seeing so much potential in this season for new figs, easy ones too (Mando repainted red for instance), oh Well. I have to say though it's not very surprising.

Yep, looks like most of us will have to order this wave online or from friends overseas. It's not looking too promising to see all the new green Yoda carded figures on American pegs if rumors coming off the Toy Fair floor end up being true.

The R2/C3po and Rex/Battle droids figures shown with the Mission Series sets aren't the actual sculpts being used. They were just there as representation place holders.

As for the 501st Trooper, he was in last weeks episode "Sabotage"

Thanks for the info x2 - this is the first I've heard that those animated figures were place holders. So are they going to sculpt a 5 POA realistic Rex for that pack?

As for the 501st, I watched that episode, but didnt notice him - good to hear its an actual character. I'll have to track the clone and R2 down at some point...

That Clone looks pretty great considering that the figure of him is just a 2012 Phase II Clone with new paint apps. I'd love to army build some of those guys....

I had plans for the 501st Trooper and Battle Droid, but oh well. Not like anything we say or do will bring them to American store pegs so I'm not going to get up in arms about it.

Seems stupid not to release them in the US, ya know - where the primary audience for the show is. The pegs are pretty bare - they could use some more figures during this "break". I would have picked up the 501st clone and R2 had they been released in the US. I'm not so certain that they wont be at a discount retailer at some point though...

Who knows, they might surface at Ross, TJ Maxx or Marshalls in the near future....similar situations have happened before even if nothing can be counted on. But yeah, not releasing them in the U.S. (a market of 320 million people where Star Wars has its strongest base) but shipping them to Canada (a market barely one-tenth as large) makes no logical sense.

That's Hasbro for you.

I'm guessing that retailers in the states may not want to touch Clone Wars or Movie Heroes right now, and that's what's driving this. And I can't blame them after how bad Hasbro burned them in 2012.

Really though, why would retailers even want these assortments to begin with? These are mostly repacks of figures that haven't been moving well anyway. I know if I was a buyer, I wouldn't want to go near these lines.

Fool me once, shame on you... fool me twice, shame on me.

One thing's probably for sure: when the Canadian figures finally come down to reasonable prices on eBay there's gonna be a rush of folks snatching them up. For $30 you're not gonna have many takers but once enough of them circulate to drop to $10-15 apiece then they'll start disappearing and surfacing in American carded collections.

He might be just a simple repaint, but he does look gorgeous. I love the Saga Carkoon Boba Fett jet exhaust. 8)

If this teasing keeps up I'm going to surrender and get this wave online. Don't make me spend that much with no logical, good reason.
