Pretty cool stuff, hopefully someday Hasbro or another company will deliver something along these lines for fans. You can see more at ***LINK REMOVED 2.24.14 - Owen closed his site down a year or two ago - the link now apparently directs to a foreign website that is not Star Wars related.***

It's gorgeous! Owen does some amazing work! I'll have to commission some things from him if I move to a bigger place in October! I really love your Palp's office he made but mostly I'd like to have the hallowed halls of the Jedi temple, with the gold statues and everything! I'd also like to have the plaza right outside the senate building with those tall & thin silver statues.

I really hope this is the week we get the new chapter? :)

Yeah, Owen's work is amazing... but unfortunately he's not taking too many commissions anymore. I can't say I blame him, they are very time consuming. Honestly if I made the stuff he did, I'd probably have to ask a lot more for them.

As for the next photonovel, it's almost done. I've got a minor technical issue that I'm working on; so in the meantime, I might start getting Chapter 23 rolling too... that way there won't be a huge gap between when Chapters 22 & 23 are posted.

Owen's stuff is just ridiculously intricate. his work was some of the first stuff i saw when i started to get interested in customizing and it really inspired me...

He could easily command 2 grand for the palp's office IMHO, mostly for the labor involved. The death star, prolly 1.5 grand.

Took me some digging, but I finally found the original photos from this thread and re-hosted them... these pics had been down for a couple years! Happy to find them again, and still amazed by this custom diorama - I get the pleasure of seeing it in person every day thanks to Owen D... come back to the customizing world Owen! :)

There are so many things very well done in this dio:
- the 3d parts on the control panels instead of only stickers
- the straight lines of it all, very tight and neat
- the modular system
- the attention for detail in it all
and so on.
Yak-Chewie, you are a lucky man to have this. But than again, you make excellent use of them in your novels!
