Ahsoka

Nothing against M&G, but this is the movie that I was hoping to see on the big screen - the storyline and intensity feel like they could easily surpass not only that film, but a lot of the Disney+ content. I suppose it's better for it to be given this treatment, to add more depth that can't be condensed into two hours of cinema. The resurgence of the Nightsisters might turn out to be one of the most interesting post-ROTJ plots, especially considering they exist in a grey area of the Force, not unlike Ahsoka herself.

Unfortunately, I really didn't like the idea of Sabine having Force powers in Ahsoka Season 1.
Then there were the weird zombie characters, the poor fight scenes against Stormtroopers, and those strange aliens that attacked the little turtle-like aliens.
Luckily there were also highlights and good world-building, too, but my expectations are rather tempered for Season 2.
It's good to see young Ahsoka again as a time lapse back into the past.

 

[Phantom-like Menace]

I'm quite looking forward to season two. There's so much potential in the Peridea galaxy, and I hope some of it is realized.

I don’t like the idea that we exchanged Thrawn and Ezra for other people now stranded in the other galaxy.

It’s also bizarre to me that no one thought to hook a bunch of engines together before this. Now extra galactic travel should be super easy…They just did it from scrap.
