I have not updated my custom page in over 5 years. In that time I have done numerous custom projects and realized over the summer that I have not posted anything in a really long time. I want to make more of a conscious effort to post my stuff and get feedback. So, over the coming weeks I hope to post a lot of the various things I have worked on. Feedback is appreciated!

First up, a repainted Cobra AGP in an attempt to fit it into the Star Wars universe. It is for Boba Fett and I call it Slave-2. The figure is a custom Boba Fett pilot.

Jodo Kast: A side note here. I spent a lot of time looking through Twin Engines of Destruction trying to make a fairly faithful representation of the character in the comic. It was HARD because of the lack on continuity in the comic. My version has the incorrect missile on his backpack and I left off the stun collar. Otherwise, I think I did pretty well. One of the customs I am more proud of.

Nice job on the customs. I really like the fan fic Boba without his armor. That would be an interesting story on how he would have to rely on his skills and training as opposed to his armor and weapons. Also like the Jodo Kast and Jodo Kast; survivor.

They look great. One can never have enough Mandos. I like how you made each one distinct.

Here is a collection of sith lords I worked on several years ago. Looking at them now I think they could be better, but they aren't too bad. My picture taking isn't good which takes away from the figures to some degree. My thought initially working on these was that Force users who embraced the dark side decided to decree themselves sith. They assigned themselves the title of Darth and formed a sith council. To give this a little more plausibility in the Star Wars universe we now know I decided that the master of this group was a former Inquisitor that Sidious banished to the Outer Rim out of fear that he could pose a threat.

The execution on version 3 of Darth Nemesis turned out fairly close to the theory. The pic shows some crazy glue residue on the back I need to clean up a bit, and I am not sure if the neck is too long and not thick enough, but overall I was pretty pleased with how he turned out.

Here is a small batch of stuff. This is mostly stuff I have completed a few years ago that i am just snapping pics of again. Any feedback or thoughts would be appreciated:

Jawa Scout Crawler:

Probably the best vehicle I have ever done. The idea and its execution aligned really well on this. My thought was that it probably isn't feasible for the sandcrawlers to go everywhere the Jawas would like to go. So, the cruise the Jundland Wastes in these bad-boys.

This is a sniper rifle I made for Boba Fett:

Gaits: Bar Owner

Jango Fett had elaborate plans put in place in the event of his untimely death to support Boba. One of those was the creation of clone who was approximately 20 standard years older than Boba named Gaits. Jango worked behind the scenes to set-up Gaits as a legitimate businessman and bar owner on Tatooine. Using the bar as a front, Gaits would be a registered arms dealer behind the scenes having one and only one client: Boba Fett. Here Gaits is in his regular bar attire with a holo-communicator that he is seemingly always on looking for deals on Mandalorian arms and armor to purchase. The name Gaits comes from surrogate as I envisioned Gaits as a surrogate father to Boba after Jango's death

Gaits: Armored Version

Gaits is a fully combat trained clone and has his own armor which is a hybrid of clone and Mandalorian. He gears up on occasion to assist Boba if requested.

General Vox and the Sith Droids:

Prior TFA I had this idea that some dark side force-users would claim to be Sith even assigning themselves Darth titles and forming a Sith council. This council decided to use some of the same technology albeit more advanced to create a droid general and subordinates who would carry out a series of terrorist activities throughout Coruscant.

Man, that Jawa Scout Crawler is a great looking vehicle. What did you use to make it?
I like Gaits in his "civvies".

I like how you create a bunch of similar looking figures but they all remain distinct. One Sith reminds me of Captain Spaulding if he was Sith instead of a clown.

That Jawa rig is amazing.

Here is a small batch of figures that I haven't posted yet. I purchased a shadow box to take the pictures and like how they turned out except for maybe the kind of hazy look they have.

Prodossak:

This is a Trandoshan that works with a small outfit of thieves, mercs and marauders. I was fairly pleased with how he turned out. Grimy, dirty, but well-armed.

Roge:

Roge is a cobbled together CIS battle droid with astromech capabilities and serves as a translator. He belongs to the same outfit as Prodossak. Roge has a booster rocket on his back giving him flight ability. I don't have a weapon for him yet that I like.

Detja Felmar:

A Cerean member of the same outfit as the others.

Badoo Bok:

A Rodian Jedi. Badoo was a fan-fic creation from someone back in the days of the custom alliance website. This is my take on him.

Time for some updates! I had a busy summer of tweaking projects and finishing things started what seems like years ago. This update will focus on versions of Luke Skywalker I have made. Again, my customs are fan-fiction creations and not any real attempt to recreate figures from the films. Thanks for looking!

Tatooine Hermit Luke Skywalker:

This is a version I made for times when Luke returns to Tatooine for whatever reasons, and he wants to maintain anonymity.

Bounty Hunter Disguise Luke Skywalker:

In my version of the Star Wars universe, there are instances where Luke needs to disguise himself. This is a bounty hunter disguise he created to blend into the background in hostile areas.

Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker:

This is a day to day outfit Luke might wear conducting Jedi business. The paint looks a little gloppy on the tabbards of his skirt. Not pleased about that. Painting anything white is a challenge.

Jedi Knight Battle Dress Luke Skywalker:

This outfit is for when Luke needs some protection in a known combat zone. I have another version of this figure without the armor around the chest and neck. I think I executed this one the best of the group.

A couple more customs to add. These are a Han Solo focus along with his old buddy Lando.

Bespin Han Solo:
This is the rare custom that I do where I strive to recreate a better version of a film-accurate figure. The combination here is fairly simple; Bespin Han upper half and Carbonite Han lower half. The torso and waist do not line up very well on their own. Took some doing to get it to mesh. I HATE THE HIP ARTICULATION OF MOST OF VINTAGE COLLECTION FIGURES. Poorly designed, poorly engineered.

End Rant

Endor Han Solo
Another Han in Carbonite with a vest added. Had to trim the untucked shirt a bit, but I think it works. Han's sleeves weren't rolled up much on Endor, but I still like this version better than previous releases.

Smuggler Lando Calrissian
This was a concept I thought prior to the release of the Solo movie. I figured Lando needed smuggler attire that somewhat resembled something Han would wear. Turns out I needed to be more flashy and vibrant than I chose to be.

...and like you, I am not a fan of the ball jointed hips. It works on a few figures, but not most.

Time for another update. Here are some Jedi/Rebels that I have completed at various times in recent years.

Mara Jade: Jedi Robes

I have always been fond of Mara Jade and she is a character that will remain in my version of the Star Wars universe regardless.

Mara Jade:

Another version of Mara. Tweaked the comic two-pack figure with a new head and holster plus a little paint.

Rahm Kota:

A little closer to a game accurate version of this character from The Force Unleashed game.

General Dodonna, General Rieeken, and Toryn Farr:

Seraph: Fan-fic Jedi

A fan-fiction creation based on Seraph from The Matrix. Thought he would be a cool Jedi.

Quinlan Voss:

Swapped out the legs of this figure and trimmed up his skirt.
