I checked the WM website, apparently the small figures aren't at the nearest stores for some reason - closest is about 25 minutes away. Hopefully distribution improves, as I'd like to buy one, otherwise I am more than content with the core line. Speaking of which, I've seen waves 1 & 3 at Target, but no sign of wave 2. Nothing at local WMs either, not even peg space. Have any of you spotted other stores carrying the core assortment?

I haven't seen the small figures anywhere. Walmart doesn't have much peg space for the movie stuff and Target gave it the small endcap.

I saw it too while watching a race. Wonder if it’ll be free Prime or rent or buy Prime.

I’m bummed that movies like this don’t last long in theaters… I don’t want to say bombed. Just hard to get to a movie if it’s only there for less than a month in the summer when people are vacationing and/or doing other things that keep people from a theater.

Just type "masters of the universe showtimes" in google, and it will let you know if any area theaters have current showings - I found three in surrounding cities just now. It's definitely worth seeing on the big screen! I'll be buying it on disc eventually as well, even though I don't purchase physical media much anymore.

I'm still hunting for figures, but it looks like I missed Skeletor at retail, so I'll have to order him online, seeing as wave 3 (core) is out now at nearby stores.

I picked up the Chronicles Battle Cat at Target last week on clearance for $20... $40 felt a little high to me, so I waited.

Upon opening it, wow this is awesome. I'm glad I didn't try to hold out for cheaper as they sold out fast once marked down.

I went ahead and ordered the core Skeletor off Amazon, and sure enough, I spotted him on the pegs while I was in another city, lol. I can now see why the figure is so popular - he arrived today and he's an absolute gem, just as well done as the He-man sculpt. I love this assortment and still can't believe what a great value they are - I genuinely like these sculpts and articulation better than the chronicles line. I think I'm going to create or repurpose some type of base for them and display the pair.
