Possible Future figures?

My concern is that Hasbro will try to pass off realistic figures as animated figures. The Sharpshooter Droid is a good example of how they might be able to get away with it.

I like the McQuarrie style.

From all charachters that appeared so far in the show, the Sniper Droideka is the top of my wishlist in charachters that need to be realistic, even before releasing as animated. Well, that may be because I hate animated Droidekas, and this is an cool design. Also, this needs to be the first ball-transiting Droideka. Hasbro, this can be done just with a articulated torso! and more moveable legs!

Personally, I'd like to see alot of new clone troopers!!! I like hasbro's idea of putting new clones in BP's since they are just repaints which save on cost(I still think $20 is to high for 3 repaints tho) Its a good way to get clones out that they missed earlier on.

Riff Tansom
Ackbar
Chancellor Palpatine (they don't seen to have plans to any realistic soon, anyway, and he controls the Republic! I'm pretty sure that kids won't amke him fight, but can make surely some plot with him)
Trench
Lok Durd
Waxer & Boil phase II 2 pack
Echo and Fives ARCs two pack
Ima-gun Di
Keeli (if they plan to release the red ARF as him, I'll personaly go to Hasbro, kidnapp whoever decided to make him this way and make him watch the Holiday Special an entire day)
Jocasta Nu (why do I have afeeling they'll troll us and release animated first?
Nute Gunray
Darth Maul
Adi Gallia (they already saved her, she needed to die when clones where phase I)
Female Death Watch
Satine Kryze (if what she does doesn't attract kids, I think that the fact she was Obi-Wans girl will)

They need to re-release Bossk on a single card, as well as make some of the other Trandoshans, like Garnac and Dar.

I don't collect the CW line but i'd get Dengar that's for sure. I'm hoping the Twilight ship gets released sometime soon as well.

I was talking about the tiny Fighter Pod figures with my nephew yesterday and then we jumped to the topic of CW figures and out of the blue he started talking about the last episodes of the season and before he mentioned Maul and Savage - he said that he wanted a Mother Talzin figure - and he even remembered her name! haha Suffice it to say, I was shocked. He is 5 years old, so I thought a figure of an old woman would never fall within his interests. I think how they changed her role this season led to may other fans being interested in her - even kids. 'Bad guys' that can wield that much power probably have the potential to interest anyone. I'm going to continue campaigning to get her released - as I told my nephew I'd buy him one if they make her! ;)

My son is almost 5, and he's the same way... with GI JOE. He wants figures of characters that don't fight - regular people... even female characters. He also wants figures of Tomax and Xamot in business suits... and playsets... man, he is ALL about playsets... Hasbro really is missing the mark on a lot of stuff. They think kids have no imagination.

It is kind of funny, I know for myself that my wanting of figures or playsets is actually based on the kid in me. If that makes sense. I mean really there is no difference if I was 10 or 40 I still want a kick ass princess Leia and some Ewoks etc. I want my figures to have action too in other words I was never a fan of the posed lil statues we used to get, it just felt wrong. Also I want them to interact with the vehicles and playsets. I may not be playing with them but I guess it is just a mindset from my youth.

Here is an interesting quote I read over on GH:

"Dave Filoni at The Clone Wars panel on Saturday morning said they estimate 35% of the audience of the show to be female and that their research seemed to indicate much of that was the character of Ahsoka Tano and her growth from a little kid to a viable warrior on the show."

I think we should campaign for not only more females in the CW line, but each time they repack core characters like Anakin and Obi-Wan they should repack Ahsoka as well. Both the season 3 outfit and the scuba outfit this year are hugely popular figures and both were / are very hard to find. If I had a daughter or niece, especially one that likes the show - I'd want her to have access to the new Ahsoka figures and other popular female characters...

Sidious, Hasbro has stated that Ahsoka has been their best selling female figure ever. Yet they still will not make sure she gets out there. Hasbro really needs to reassess the term "core characters"

When it comes to figures, the season 1 Ahsoka was repacked to no end, to the point where people got tired of seeing it - its beyond me why the later figures werent repacked instead, because thats where the demand rests. I think a new Ahsoka should always be available in the line and then carried forward so kids can actually find her. There are other Jedi heroes from the series that get no attention at all, like Adi Gallia. She has been in what...ten or more episodes or something? She is appearing in the next season as well, and according to Hasbro a figure of her is "unlikely" year after year. Its really a shame how they have neglected the line and the shows great characters this year and into next...

It is so sexists! LOL I hear there is another Obi and Anakin coming next year too. Sometimes I wonder if Hasbro even watches the show. When I think of Clone Wars I think those three are the core and main characters of the show. But still no Ahsoka for us.

Technically shes had more customes made hasn't she? Ani and ken have had early and later series outfits and space suits. While Ashoka has had early and later series outfits, space suit and scuba suit. Grant she hasn't been remade a gazillion times but would you have wanted her to?

BUT they did all new resculpts for the same season three outfits twice now for Annie and Obi. Now where's my Ahsoka!
