I actually like the figure, but the head sculpt/paint apps remind me more of my friend Danielle than it does the actress.

"I was going to finish it, but then my stepmother died. It took a long time to get over her. Then, Pa died. I just... I just couldn't move on, Beru. And then some crazy guy named Ben dumps my stepbrother's child at our doorstep... and you know I can't get anything done with that kid runnin' around the place."

In an effort to catch up on 2024 figures that I've still never seen at retail, I purchased Professor Huyang online, and luckily, he's still widely available at MSRP. The Ahsoka series and its characters are some of my personal favorites from the Disney+ content, so I'm making an effort to find them, realizing that I never tracked down Hera either! Is she available anywhere from a non-scalper source?

Okay, good…I’m not the only one who didn’t buy all the 2024 stuff then!

Still need maybe four figures, the Imperial cruiser hallway, Mando four pack, and the X-Wing Pilots.

Edit: Crap! I don’t have a Blurrg either!!! :( I’m falling behind for sure.

They actually put out a lot of stuff last year, more than I realized, but unfortunately, I didn't see much of it at retail, which is how I prefer to collect. Seems like each year I'm catching up on the last! The basic and fan channel waves are hit or miss though, and I often don't find much of anything. Cobb Vanth is everywhere, yet I can't find a basic figure assortment at Target, nor fan channel at Gamestop.

PS: The Blurrg is my favorite release from last year, bought two on day one - definitely a must have for a world building collection! I believe Amazon has it on sale at the moment for a few bucks off. ;)

Lance and anyone else that has this figure already (I'm still waiting on mine to ship from Amazon),

What is the height comparison between this Luke and the prior Tatooine/DS Escape Luke? I liked the prior Tatooine Luke, except I thought that the legs were too skinny and slightly too short.

Is the hair a separate sculpt from the head like a hair piece? Or are my eyes just playing tricks?

Finally, just a couple of observations from this photo -- (1) it may be the angle, but those eyes looked like someone goosed Luke and (2) again may just be the angle, but that wrist articulation looks kind of bulky.

Thank,

Jason

It's a separate hair piece, and the height is about perfect. I've opened 4 of the figure so far, and think it's easily the best Luke ever made in my view.

I did paint the shins on a couple of them, different shades... here's on that I did a darker tan look for. The other one has a lighter tone but I don't have pics yet.

Cool deal! I like what you did with the boots. Thanks for the pic, Justin. I'm guessing that you added a hole for the lightsaber hilt to fit into?

I remember the Hasbro Pulse team mentioning something about an Easter Egg with the pants. I wish they would have explained that better because I don't think most of us know what they were talking about. I certainly don't. From what I understand, Luke's pants are just Levi's blue jeans with the back pockets removed and bleached out to an almost white-tan look.

Had a great TVC day. Was on a bit of a road trip and stopped by a couple of rural Walmarts. Their TVC figures were marked down to $10.50... grabbed these. The HK droid didn't ring up for the clearance price... I was just going to not get them but the cashier grabbed a manager walking by, who did a price override.
