My Walmart had the Kenobi/Airborne Trooper set on clearance.. it was still $35, but that was fair enough for me to add another.

Probably keeping this set carded.

Yeah, I ordered 4 battle droid sets and 3 clone sets. It's really a compulsory thing at this point on some items. I really don't even want those that bad... but im 5 years, I might... and I don't want to pay even higher prices later.

😉
Exactly. And I also don’t want to pass up the opportunity for all the figure styles to align. I’m not really interested in getting a random spattering of designs or sculpts (or color differences) down the road when I can purchase the same design in bulk right now!

Next month depending on how money goes, I may even buy a couple more sets. I’ll probably get another two droid sets. I’d have to think about the clones.

Clone squads are 8 white troopers and a Sargent (which they need to make), so I’d want to do these in increments of 8. Two squads is a decent number already…I’m not sure if I should double the cost and spring for another 16 troopers at $272 more. That definitely seems unreasonable.

Finally bough my first Jabba's Palace Denizens on amazon for 81 Euro. I think the set unfortunately won't get much cheaper.

I also won auctions on ebay for 20 packaged, well-preserved POTJ/POTF figures at around 7 Euro each (including Ellors Madak, Lando and 2B-1 for instance).

Then finally, another Covert Ops Clone Trooper for my 2nd squad.
And today, I picked up my first affordable Geonosis Commander Jet Clone Trooper on the German online marketplace (I’m really looking forward to that one).

That sounds like dangerous territory - a toy shop owner having your phone number! :p I wonder if either you or Jodo is edging towards their customer of the year? Its great having a local store with that much variety, unfortunately the closest to me is 30 minutes away, so I don't get there often. I'm sorta feeling the itch to go hunting now though. :geek:

I usually go into Gamestop at least once a month and use my pro rewards since they do the best at having new figures in stock for Black Series and TVC in my area. Last week the guy at Gamestop gave me a list of Star Wars pre-orders and said they'd order and hold ones I want. I've never been hip enough to "get in with the employees" before lmao.

someone posted (not here) that GameStop is getting rid of their rewards program in August (I could be wrong on the date), but if anyone has points with them, you might want to verify and use them if true.

Unfortunately, that does appear to be the case.

I rarely go to Gamestop, but a couple of times an employee added a discount to what I purchased, even though I'm not a rewards member - guess they were just being nice? I definitely stopped visiting after I noticed how crazy their prices had become, especially considering Hasbro is already crossing the MSRP line for me with TVC. I want to say a "deluxe" TVC figure was $35 at Gamestop, is that right? o_O

I don't get TVC but Black Series is $29.99 before pro discount, so the total is around $28 and some change after the discount. Amazon is charging $29.99 for a lot of Black Series and the local Target and Walmart haven't gotten anything new since the M&G wave 1 hit. Gamestop is pretty much my best option until/if the pro discount goes away.

That's a shame about Gamestop, but it seems they are keeping the $5 off each month for Rewards members. At least that's how I understand it.

I've noticed Gamestop recently doesn't seem to be carrying TVC anymore. And most Walmarts stopped with their ActionVerse expansion (which doesn't seem to really be selling). Ugh.

I did swing by Time Warp Toys and in addition to the Baze Malbus they had for me, I picked up a couple of Remnant Snowtroopers.

😉
