Very nice! I like the adapted top. I've got one of those Crimson Firehawks on the work table right now. Your design is really excellent.

This is absolutely remarkable. For years on end you've been a styrene master and you truly put those skills to great use here by turning this preschool-ish toy into a collector type ship. I'm actually stunned by just how great this looks... and love the color scheme you went with.

I think I commented on this on facebook, but I'm happy to repeat myself here.

I've seen a lot of customs of the Crimson Firehawk. Some were quite impressive. But, man, this is easily the BEST version I've seen. Absolutely stunning in every respect. The outside is gorgeous and the interior is positively mind-blowing. Truly outstanding work!

I also found it doubly impressive when you commented that none of the components here were 3D printed and were, in fact, made "the old fashioned way." Bravo again. Wow.

I can't help but think, however, that this ship lacks, uh, facilities. It's gonna be a looong flight to the next space rest stop.

This is just incredible! I especially love all the greebling on the engines. It makes it feel so much more Star Wars. I think my local Ollie's still has some firehawks; I may have to go pick one up now.

How did you make the cuts so clean on the top of the ship? And, how does the top panel secure to the ship?
