So the rumors are true - these are at retail! I hope they do a big retail push for this wave, considering its the best they have to offer for Solo in the basic line. Retailers also need a good variety for holiday shoppers, and the pegwarming Qira figures aren't going to cut it. ;) I'm most excited about Quay Tolsite - that's the type of figure that keeps me energized about collecting.

I'm most excited by Quay Tolsite too. Has a great prequel era and OT vibe all rolled together and a wonderful sculpt.

Solo wave 4 made it to my local WM - the entire case was on the pegs. I only picked up Quay Tolsite, because I ordered the rest on HTS. Its such a solid wave - Hasbro did a good job with the case, but Quay should have been packed x2 instead a repack taking that extra slot. Considering he isn't likely to be carried forward or repacked, they shouldn't make such a great new figure / character HTF. Overall, I think Hasbro did a great job with the basic line for this movie - I would still like to see Therm Scissorpunch though!

Sure -

head - 5 poa Beckett
torso - Hoth Han Solo (the one that's been rehashed over and over)
jacket - 5 poa Beckett
arms - TVC Endor Rebel
hands - 5 poa Beckett
holster - 5 poa Beckett
legs - TVC Bom Vimdin

That is a BRILLIANT recipe! Hoth Han, what an inspired choice! It doesn't even look liked you painted this, all those colors look original to their source figures.

Outstanding job! I've been racking my brain to think of a good recipe for an SA beckett and the best I could come up with was the black series Galen Marek. Have been keeping my eye on ebay to try to find a cheap enough one. But, man, I think I got rid of my Hoth Han a while back (still have one in the VERY bright blue variant...)

Awesome stuff, Chewie! I may copy this 100%.

It is an awesome figure (that should have been in TVC)!

I bought the Beckett wave off HTS this evening because I still haven’t seen it. The only one they didn’t have was Quay, so I’ll need to keep an eye out for that one.

Still no sign of the Rebolt deluxe wave either, but I haven’t exactly been hunting lately either.

Thanks so much for the heads up about HTS. I've pretty much given up all hope of ever finding new figures at stores again. I picked up the Solo figures who were available. I definitely would have missed them otherwise.

Plus, everywhere is clearencing the 5 POA figures out, so I don’t expect much restocking to happen!

Today, I hit up three Walmart’s and actually found the Solo walker on clearence for $21 at one store. I ended up picking it up, and it’s much nicer than I expected! I had a gift card too, so it was essentially less than $3 for me!

I’ve seen it a few times over the last couple of months, but never when I had money/the desire to get it.

I received my figures from HTS today. Rio is by far the best one. Honestly, there wouldn’t be too much need for a TVC version IMO. Val and Beckett are well done too. The paint apps on Beckett’s face are wonky though. My least favorite of the wave is the droid. It looks like a meal toy. I had hoped it would be closer to the quality of K2SO, but I was quite wrong.

Hopefully Quay comes back into stock soon!

I got my set yesterday. Very quick shipping. I like how Beckett and Val both have additional swivel joins but can't understand why L3 doesn't have more. It's a hard figure to cast no matter what because of her wired joints, but her deco is very plain. I also picked up the DVD pack from Amazon for $18, but it hasn't arrived yet.

Without knee joints, the legs on L3 look like popsicle sticks. I think the detail and deco are fine, and its great to have a new droid design, its just a bit too simplistic as action figures go. In this scale, and with the thinness of the plastic, it could have limited those options. Still glad they released it, considering this entire wave isn't likely to see TVC treatment.

Very true about L3. I think my biggest frustration with the new line of figures since 2012 or so has not been as much about the limited articulation and poor distribution but rather the limited number of figures that are available. There are still several important characters from as back as The Force Awakens that will likely never see figure form. General Leia (not in a dress) is one obvious example. Oh, well.
