Great stuff Drewton - I had not seen your thread on this until just now so I moved them to your thread.

About a week ago, my wife surprised me with an early Christmas present - second row seats to see Star Wars In Concert. So Last night, my wife and I attended the event in St. Louis, Missouri. It was held at the Scottrade Center, which is the home of St. Louis Blues Hockey.

Even though I absolutely love Star Wars obviously, I was not sure if this was something I would enjoy. But the moment we walked in and I saw the numerous costumes/etc. set up on display, I knew this was going to be fun. Every bit of this was enjoyable, from the the fun family atmosphere to actually hearing the music live while watching scenes from the films. The entire presentation was extremely well done, and the highlight was seeing none other than Anthony Daniels in person, who narrated the entire 2-hour event.

I was able to snap some pics of the event. These aren't the greatest images you'll ever see, but I thought they were worth sharing.

Every aspect of this event was a blast for me... I highly recommend that if this comes to your city, to try and attend. And if you have kids who like Star Wars, they will love this. And my guess is that anyone who reads this would have enjoyed it just as much as we did.

I went to this about a month ago, it was fantastic. The only thing that I found to be a little tiny bit of a letdown was that some of the props were not the actual props, but the licensed version. But that really didn't take away from the concert at all, it was amazing. Anthony Daniels was of course perfect to host this, and the performers were top notch! The light and pyro was great too. I really want to catch this again.

The pictures look great. I'm hoping to get some great photos myself! I'm so excited as today as I write this I will be attending Star Wars in Concert as an early Christmas present from my wife in Nashville! She actually gave me two amazing gifts! V.I.P. tickets for Star Wars in Concert and she won the bid on the custom one of a kind mighty mugg for the make a wish charity auction The Empire Muggs Back created by one of my all time favorite Star Wars artist Matt Busch! We are going to get in early and she got us front row seats. I'll actually hopefully get to see Anthony Daniels up close (crossing fingers).

Drewton You really did take some great pictures of the concert! I just attended last night in Nashville. I really loved everything about it! Only wish they didn't have those lights strategically placed around props where you can't get great photos other than that now complaints about the show! The Mid South Imperial Garrison was there from the 501st with several stormtroopers, luke,leia, two R2-D2s Commander Bacara, Cody, and several other clone commanders. The children loved all of the characters and they were cool walking around letting kids have picture taken with them. The show was excellent and would highly recommend to any true Star Wars fan! It is amazing how tight of a schedule all of the people that make the show possible have to keep and still perform flawlessly! We brought our FX master replica lightsabers and a lot of people were wondering if we bought them at the concert!LOL! :lol: Star Wars in concert could make a fortune selling these as all the kids wanted them! Really wish that I could see the show again! Looks like it will be over in Europe locations next year! Really bums me out! I may have to plan a trip overseas!

I met Anthony Daniels at DragonCon back in September, and he mentioned the show. I could tell he likes it quite a bit (although I wouldn't say the same about him and ewoks!).
