Welcome Stocos28, glad you could join us! Wow, that's quite an entry with all those customs! That's some quality work there, my friend. The Sith Lord is definitely up there, kicking the door down for the other customs you made.

Love the fact you made Rianna from the PSP game. And Naga Sadow and Marka Ragnos are simply great and over the top (which I really like about these).

Just one question about Mission Vao (which looks terrific, epecially those lekku): could it be she's suffering from reversed butt syndrome?

Oh, the other Vao is also really nice. I recognize some parts in him, care to share the recipes on the other figures?

Great work all around and hope to see more!

Well welcome to Yakface. Damn  that is an amazing group of customs to show up with. Great character choices and they are all so well done. I love your use of soft goods on many of them. The painting on all of them looks awesome as well. Have you been a lurker at other forums or did you figure all this out on your own. You may be new here but I can tell you are not new to custom figures, or at least have some art background. What gives?...and where have you been training?

Hey man, lemme say that a couple years ago, before I knew about rebelscum and yakface, I mainly checked out Star Wars customs by typing :custom Star Wars" into ebay. Of course, you've been listing your work there for a while. When I was just starting, the inspiration I received from your work cannot be understated. You have an eye for parts, and your painting is top-notch. You're good at what you do man; I've always thought so. Right on.

Wow, these are by far some of the best customs I've ever seen. Your Deceived Trailer Sith is the best attempt at him by far, Mission Vao is truly amazing and looks just like her, Marka Ragnos almost made me faint. I won't list my feelings for all of them because I would be here all day, but they are all stunning.

Wow, Thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate it. Indeed, I have been at this for a while. It actually started a little while after ep3 came out. Someone had sold a custom airborne trooper on ebay and my good buddy known on many forums as Jackoftradze told me he thought that I could do one better. So, That's were it all started. I was once a member of the custom alliance but I never got a solid link to my name in the members list to showcase my customs and the updates were far and few in between so I gave up on that site. That was probably about two years ago.

I've recently really tried to focus on the quality of my customs and still be able to keep them playable to a reasonable degree. I've really gotten into sculpting lately. This can be seen in mission vao's vest and her head which is actually a Padme head, as is the Jill valentine's head. Also, in the Shado Vao who's head is actually the secret apprentice but completely re-sculpted. Also, in Marka Ragnos' antlers and Naga sadows head which is Destro from the G,I,Joe 25th ann. line.

Wow. I don't know what else to say. Those are absolutely fantastic customs. I would buy that Mission Vao figure (along with several others) in a heartbeat if I were to see it on the pegs...

well welcome to yak, you have done some outstanding custom work there. i think that my favorite would have to be the shado voa figure, he looks great. im curious if your twilek customs have sculpted lekku(head tails) or if they are transplanted from one head to another? again great work, you have a real talent. :)

Thanks. Yeah, all the Lekku are sculpted. I found it easier then trying to transplant them from other figures, and cheaper. Plus by scultping them I can have them lay however I choose. I use green stuff from games workshop for sculpting. The stuff is great!

Y'know... I would absolutely LOVE for you to do a photo-tutorial on how you sculpt lekku and Twi'lek heads in general. That Mission Vao head is absolutely *gorgeous*!

Ok, I am really loving the details in all of these. The sculpting, the painting, the parts used, everything! What's not to love? The time you have to be putting into these is very impressive and I've seen very few people be able to achieve such convincing results. It is inspiring to be able to see this kind of quality, with such a range of known characters that Hasbro has not gotten to yet.

And you know what's maybe even more impressive is your Resident Evil work. I'm a fan of those games, never seem to have enough time to play them to beat them, but really enjoy them. If somehow Hasbro got into the gaming industry making figures that resemble this work, they'd be getting even more of my dollars.

Some really nice stuff here. I really dig the Old Republic Sith Lord. Nice idea with the RoC Flash (I have the same figure in WIP status on my Sith Lord ;) ) and I'm guessing the Rex "The Doctor" Lewis for the head? I haven't found one yet but I'm holding out for one to finish my figure up. Can't wait to see what you have up next :D

I second that! :D

Looking more closely at the paint apps, especially on Sadow and Ragnos, I was wondering if you have a past with handling gaming miniatures, like Warhammer, LOTR? The horns on Ragnos and eye on Sadow's chest are classic examples of a Warhammer approach to painting things like that....

WOW! These are amazing! I love that Old Republic Sith Leader, do you mind posting a recipe? And also I was wondering, what kind of paints do you use? Thanks.

I don't have experience with miniatures but I do use citadel paints and washes. And I gotta tell everyone that washes, when used properly, will take your customes to the next level! I used a blue and red wash on my Cade Bane's face and eyes and it looks 100 times better. My paint experience has been stictly with customs over the last few years with a lot of trial and error. Here are few more of my recent pieces.
