I really enjoyed this chapter. I especially liked the figures for the Maker and the rich imperials. I can't wait to see what will happen next.

Appreciate the feedback, glad that you liked this chapter.

The wealthy Imperials were a fun add... I wanted to do that in a previous chapter, but just couldn't figure out at the time how to do it.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter too - can't wait to get working on it!

Another fantastic chapter. Love the action sequences. Also, I found the name of your Neimodian Rube Goopway funny for some reason

Yep, what a dumb name! LOL

Thank you for reading, and appreciate the feedback. Every little bit makes me think about getting the next chapter moving. :thumbs up:

I literally curled up on my couch to read this. What a great chapter!

I meant to reply earlier, sorry about that!

Great story. The larger revolt makes sense. The dwellers are frightening. Superb customs and a inspired design for this threat from the shadows.

The Maker is fantastic. Perfect body for him. With the droid embodiment I wondered what the warden was—human or alien. NOw I know. He had a rough spring break to say the least.

I love his guests. The boss fight head is wonderful. Execution on painting top notch. I love the use of the hands from grievous in flesh form? Match of parts is really good.

Glad you felt the revolt made sense. That was kind of the plan the entire time, but I did at one time plan on a different result. Not where Rykrof died or anything like that, but things almost played out very differently.

Those hands were actually from a Geonosian on the bug alien that had the bossfight head.

The gambling on the bloodletting of prisoners another inspired and surprising story element. Loved the dialogue. Maybe picky the gaming room could have been. More luxurious. Maybe a twilek hostess. A random suggestion but the sets are incredible. The orange boxes. The walls. The shuttle.

I came close to showing the gambling a while back, but never could settle on how I wanted the "gaming area" to look. If I was not diorama-challenged lately, I would have tried to make that room seem more fitting. I agree, it wasn't the proper setting.

I also like what maybe your first use of a six inch figure. Tarkin is awesome. The new imperial warden is well designed and believable.

I have to admit, I was terrified of how it might look too jarring. I guess it came out okay.

We maybe heading to count of Monty Cristophe like reckoning.

How big a jerk will Cauldin be? How devastated will Alyssa be? Freeeeeeloooooo?

Chewie, this art and maybe your best chapter yet.

Thank you for this.

I can't wait to get more into those older characters again and begin to tie up some loose ends. I think the characters will have changed quite a bit since last time we saw them.

I do a weird thing with these now. I don't plan ahead anymore - at least not to the degree that I used to. I stopped that about 2 years ago. What I do, is I make sure that I have the customs and dioramas that I need. Then, I just let it play out, like if I was a kid with my toys. I let it happen as I take the pics, and have general themes and ideas in mind, but have found it feels much more natural this way - and less stressful. Then, I edit the pics and hope I have enough material to add in meaningful dialogue and descriptions to go along with the pictures.

Again, thank you for the continued support and feedback.

I had so much fun reading this one. Your recent method works. Your stories are a cohesive joy. Your characters are fantastic. Keep it up.

And if you are diorama challenged...I am really in a bad way.

Finally had a chance to read this latest chapter. I wasn't disappointed. I really thought the story elements worked. I'm left curious about other (non-essential?) elements of the story - like what's the back story on the dwellers? - which I believe is always a good thing. I'm glad you didn't kill off Atracion and Sarlo, it makes the whole story more believable to me - the everyone dying except the hero thing just annoys me. The figure designs were great and dioramas looked splendid. I was okay with the gambling room being sparse - nothing else in complex looked lavish and it is a penal colony. I also felt that the 6 inch Tarkin head worked - we are used to the holographic images being larger than life in the Star Wars 'verse. Really nice job; I'm intrigued for the next chapter.

Rykrof Enloe is back with a new adventure!

Well, since it's been exactly one year since this chapter was posted, I should probably finally offer my reply/reaction!

The Tartaaris storyline overall has been sensational. I was worried at the very beginning because it felt like it was a "diversion" when I really wanted to see Rykrof out in the post-Republic, post-war era, maybe getting involved with the fledgling rebellion.

But I have truly enjoyed the heck out of this overall story arc. The sets for the planet have been just mind-blowing, as have all the customs of the prisoners, the Dwellers and the creepy-as-heck Maker himself. The "scissor punch" custom figure was also great, but I was left wondering what happened to him. Did he live or die? :)

This episode was a rousing conclusion to the Tartarris arc with spectacular action! It's so visceral, so high energy, so fun.

I love Rykrof mixing it up with his lightsaber and I hope we see more of Rykrof's force connection down the road.

I loved the fact that BOTH Sarlo and Atracion survived and went with Rykrof. So often in popular fiction, ONLY the main characters survive and escape ordeals like this, which always feels a bit fake. But having those two alive is awesome and presents great opportunities for future stories. Will Rykrof hang around with them for a while or will they got their separate ways. Lots of ways to go with this, especially since having a powerful criminal friend like Atracion could be an asset to Rykrof. Heck, maybe Rykrof even starts working for a criminal organization as a way to lay low from the Empire.

I loved Rolem doing the CYA bit by claiming that Rykrof was killed. Ha! Interesting use of the Black Series Tarkin as the holo for the better sculpt.

The arrival of the Dwellers during the action scene took everything to the next level. I really love it when there are three-way battles in stories, when a third party comes in to really make things crazy for both heroes and villain alike. Awesome addition that really makes a fun storyline just so much better.

As I said, so many possibilities for future stories now that Ryrkrof, even more hardened and tempered by fire, is now back out in the galaxy and is at large again. Where will he go next? Can't wait to find out!

Terrific chapter! So glad we're getting another one soon! Thanks for your wonderful work!

My apologies for the delay in posting this to the photonovelalliance.com site: http://photonovelalliance.com/pn/TET/TET_Chapter_17_Clash_On_Tartaaris.html

Now that we are under quarantine, I see no reason why we shouldn't expect 5 or 6 new chapters before the summer! :)

Thank you for hosting it there, as always.

I wish I could say that I wasn't too busy during quarantine, but my company worked my ass off. But... new chapter is coming this month. :)

Thank you Starchaser, I'm glad you felt the chapter worked out. :)

Yeah, I felt that Atracion and Sarlo needed to make it out alive, plus it opens up opportunities moving forward.

The next chapter is basically finished. I'm just fine tuning some things at this point. It will shift focus to another character...
