hello.
this is my first post at yakface forums so be kind, :D
me and my friend of star wars collectors club (swccmty) got together to work on a diorama to display it on a comic convention back here at Monterrey Mexico. dont have a photo bucket yet but i can give you a link to our page.

That thing turned out amazing and absolutely captures the ESB feel for Hoth. Wow.

it was a big deal to get the proyect on time but finally all went ok. actually it is our second diorama, the another one was the battle of geonosis, here's the link to it..

we basically started doing this at big scale, i think that it's a good way to show the magnificence of the vehicules and figures, it somehow catches the esence of the movie, tough it isnt that big as the dioramas of the past celebrations.

hope that you guys can write your coments at the end of the review, it would be an honor.

thats set up looks great, the scale is very impressive, it allows for such an exspansive view of the battlefield, very cool. all the details in the hangar bay are great as well and the supended x-wing rules, great who!

we used this cups that resemble little trash cans, unfortunately the store that we get them closed about 5 months ago. :cry:
that yellow circular piece is the lid of the cup and we used two on each big turret and one on the dish kind of turrets.
so, what do you think about them?
