I made a couple bounty hunters, one is a rodian (suk-ah) and the other is a wookiee (fuhr-re). They often work together to surprize their bounty's. The wokkiee's blade is from a $1 store figure, the armor is a batman (i think). The rodian is a clone commander that I coated all white with a hand and head swap.

So. Cal
heres another for the challenge this month. great entries so far this month.

=Krane, IIO-25=

Krane. Officialy he is listed as an IIO(Independent-Imperial-Operative), but to many Imperial Officers, he is considered to be a rouge trooper, traitor and nothing more than a common Bounty Hunter.
After the birth of the Empire many units were reorganized. Krane as an elite clone trooper was placed witht he newly formed Imperial Commandos. Some say that Krane was a former ARC trooper and didn't much care for working with a group and under the command of snotty cherry officers, others say he was a Clone Commander and still others say he was one of the last Original Republic Commandos. Whatever his former unit, Krane left the direct command of the Empire and conducted his own missions. Often he engages in Imperial skirmishes with Rebels, aiding the Imperial side. When there is a black-list job such as sabotage, assasination or kindnapping the empire wants done and they don't want blame directed at them, Krane is thier first choice. Though he has complete disregaurd for the orders of Imperial Officers, he will take missions from Admirals & Generals and is paid qute generously for his work. All enemy's of the Empire need to look out for Bounty hunters and Mercs, but they will never even see this Soldier coming......

I really like the Rodian in the Clone armor. It works for me. The Wookiee's sword is pretty cool too. Needless to say, I have begun hunting dollar stores for ggod stuff to use.

The Krane dude, jedistyle, as always I enjoy your paint jobs. The neckerchief(?) is an interesting and nice touch, good accesorizing on that one, methinks.

Good stuff this month, I think the topic helped that a lot.

Hope this counts as on time, it's 11 central time where I'm at. I use to post over at Rebelscum under the name PsychoGunz. I've been lurking on the custom scene, but haven't had much time to participate. I came across the custom projects you all have been working on each month, and it really got me wanting to get back into the game.

In the spirit of spreading the love of the hobby, I asked my girlfriend if she had any interest in trying to make a custom. Sure enough, she found some concept art in the Art of the Attack of the Clones she liked, and gave it a shot.

Hope these fit the criteria for the contest/challenge, this is my first time submitting. Gonna hit send before midnight, then update with some more info on these two.

This one's mine...

And this is hers...
zaphana.jpg

We had to rush to finish these tonight, so the paint is a little rough. On Zaphana, we'll need to go back and set the arms further in and clean up the paint around the joints, and I've got some spots to touch up on Thellik, and I think I'd like to make him some more specialized droid-hunting gear.

This is the concept art she was going by when we selected parts:

zaphanaconcept.jpg

Recipe for Zaphana is:
Head: Adi Galla
Torso: Vintage Biker Scout
Upper-arms: Luke Skywalker (vintage style, super articulated)
Gauntlets: Sebulba
Hands: Pregnant Padme ROTS
Waist: Handmaiden Padme TPM
Upper Legs: Senate Guard ROTS
Boots: Kyle Katarn

Recipe for Thellik is:
Head: Tessek
Torso: Dash Rendar
Upper Arms: Jar-Jar or some other Gungan
Hands: Tessek
Waist: Weequay
Legs: Weequay
Boots: Rune Hacko

On Thellik, I liked the idea of a hunter who only went after droids, who saw himself more as a repo man than a bounty hunter. His color scheme is "beach tones" to tie in with the Quarren aspect of his character. I think the light colored boots give him a somewhat 70's sci-fi look for some reason, but I don't think that's entirely out of place.

Zaphana's backstory is that she believes herself to be the daughter of a clone trooper. Whether this is true, or even biologically plausible, she has built a profitable enterprise tracking down rogue clones and Imperial deserters while fostering the rumors of her origin.

We really enjoyed working on these, and I'm enjoying getting back into the hobby. Looks like there were a lot of great submissions this month! Good job everyone.

Now those are some REALLY cool entries Dan... yep they count still, we'll keep this open until midnight Pacific Time, I should have been more clear.

Those are some of the best I've seen ayone make for these contests. Very inspiring, well thought out and contructed! Damn those are nice, especially the Quarren!

It's also very cool that your girlfriend helped out, now that's a great woman... the one she worked on is very nice too. 8)

Winner will be announced hopefully Wednesday night.

First off, i gotta say.....the Zaphana Custom is just awesome. Seriously, it totally had me inspired, so...thanks for that!

Now, sadly, i did not make the deadline for #12 Bounty Hunters. Had my entry done and painted, and somehow it got knocked to the floor and shattered the sculpted parts. I am in the process of re-imagining the concept in a form that uses existing parts because I don't think I'm willing to go through a lot of resculpting. I do have a question though, is it kosher for us to post an entry in the thread after the deadline? I know it wouldn't be eligible for that totally swank McFett (drool!) but would it be alright if i posted up my late entry just for the sake of sharing it and being a part of the challenge?

Yeah, it's Yakfinities after all.

And welcom to da Yak, Dan and g/f! And what an entrance with Thellik and Zaphana! Nice to see Tessek's ugly mug used for this month by others as well. As most of you know, my entry is on hold, due to home improvements, but I'll finish him later on.

Congrats ars30, twas a fine custom, and way to go picking up a McFett!

Awesome ones all around. I think in the end, I love the look of the Ithorian as well as it being a good pic, but something about that Rodian in the Clone Armor... I don't know, it just clicks with me.

Okay, off to think about a War Droid...
