:D great stuff so far guys!

I'll have to sit this one out since I dont have any roboesque parts not already in use - I could do something lame but I'd rather put in the effort!

I'll be very keen to see the final summary

Nice droid, Hawkeye! You used the robot body better than Ep. 3! Nice weathering, and the possible poses are cool too. And your intro. was funny. Good work.

Imperial EMP droid 4U-KJ

4U-KJ.jpg

4U-KJ becomes a pinkish hue as it decloaks and fires a massive electromagnetic pulse.

4U-KJ droids are used by the Empire to end skirmishes quickly if losses are calculated as too heavy. For example, the Imperial military once defended a children's hospital from rebel attack with the use of a 4U-KJ. The cloaked droid shot straight to the center of the battle and self-destructed in a massive electromagnetic pulse. The EMP disabled ALL weapons and machinery on the battlefield. Once blasters were gone, so were the rebel cowards. Expensive solution, since Imperial weapons and machinery are destroyed as well, but worth it for the cost of children's lives under the care of the Empire.

In all sincerity, I made 4U-KJ for Katie Johnson and the 501st Legion.

Parts:
Body, antennae, LED bulbs: Naboo Starfighter
Dome: Rascal Robot wind-up toy
Translucent stand: Yoda's chair from Ep. 2
Red power core: red lightsaber blade

I found an R2-KT at StarWarsShop and gave it to my daughter, who loves it.

This is my entry for this months Yakfinities Challenge, "DROIDS OF WAR". LMK what you think.

CIS Turret droids, are coventionaly camoflagued, walking turrets, that are best suited for ambush tactics, due to their slow rate of movement. However what they lack in speed, they more than make up for in fire-power.

Sweet droid! I can recognize a couple of the parts, but what did you use for the camouflaged top? Very believable Separatist droid!

Great entries guys!

Hawkeye - Pretty cool droid, so he's an Imperial? It does make sense that they would use previous models that the Seps had, after the war as they seem to have pretty much absorbed the Federation/Techno Union, etc. after the Clone Wars.

Jordan - Now that's creative man, really interesting looking droid. That's a great tribute to Katie Johnson too, awesome work but even more cool that yours is a tribute.

Fritz - Wow, I'm loving this droid! Could really see these being used by the Seps. Great idea having it be camo like that, and the dome with the mossy looking top is fantastic. Excellent custom, very believable.

Here's my entry for "Droids of War".

This is a sliced MSE Droid called an “Infiltrator" by the Rebellion due to its covert ability to infiltrate it’s desired target. A slicer only known as N-8 who was sympathetic to the rebel cause, was able to divert and modify some MSE-6 deliveries from the Rebaxan Columni to the Imperial fleet.

N-8 was able to take existing MSE-6 droids and modify them with a compact blaster hidden inside their chassis. The MSE Infiltrator would base its target on a bio-signature remotely downloaded by N-8. Once the target was identified the Infiltrator would open its lid, draw its weapon and instantly fire on its prey. Other variants contained thermal detonators and other modified explosives. Eventually the Imperial fleet caught on to this tactic and Darth Vader himself demanded that each MSE droid be scanned and thoroughly searched. This eventually put an end to a mostly successful rebel tactic that is still hailed as genius by rebel sympathizers but is shunned as cowardess by the Imperial fleet.

Some amazing Droids to compete with.

Mine is just getting on my nerves now it's creation is cursed, i was hoping to have it photographed today but yet again something has happened to it's paint work. I've glazed the lense's with some pva glue to make them glossy and last night giving the back lense a last coat i didn't clean the brush out properly and it went dirty and trying to fix it the whole lense has come off :( .

I decided to throw the towel in, nothing is working the way I planned it and honestly I don't have enough droid parts kicking around to make a decent contribution. I am digging all the entrys so far though and have started a crime boss for next month. Hey man, it just happens like that sometimes.

If you mean you haven't got enough parts as in arms and stuff, their is no rule that says your droid can't be battle damaged.

Well, I too, was low on droid parts, but I had to do something, I just had to!!!

Here is my War Droid entry, the Separatist Jetpack Droids!

During the Clone Wars, the Jetpack Clone Troopers rained fire from above on Separatist armies. Countermeasures were taken, and Battle Droids were modified to take to the skies. With these Jetpack Droids, the Separatists were able to match the threat of the Jetpack Clone Trooper.

JetpackDroid3.jpg

PARTS LIST:
Droid: Saga1 Basic Red Battle Droid
Jetpack: Missile backpack from Target Arena Accessory set, turned upside down. Also, I have added the antenna from a ROTS Clone Trooper to the backpack.

Yeah, that's about it. I like all the other entries this month, but honestly, I am really looking forward to crime bosses.
