Fantastic work, both of you.

jedistyle - Your work never ceases to amaze me. Even though I expect a lot from you, you still continue to get better somehow. I really like this, and it could also double as another Jedi during any time period. Great paining.

stormtripper - I'm certainly sorry to hear about your accident, I'm just glad you're doing better! Nice custom, tthis is a great reversal for Han... also, it's good to see you're able to pick right back up... but mostly, it's good to know that you're doing better. Sounds like your injury was pretty serious...

So. Cal
thats a great take on a dark luke chewie. i saw that there was some contraversey over the white armor at RS, it's a shame it goes like that over there. i personaly dig the white armor, though it dosn't scream sith it is an i dentifier of the empire and i think is definetley a cool idea that the emperors apprintace would wear similar armor to the stormtroopers he was leading in battle. you did a great job on the sith eyes, those wrapped secret apprintace arms are very cool looking as well, great job on this one! :)

lets see some more entries everyone!

Thanks for the comments jedistyle... I'm not sure how I feel about the armor.

Also everyone - due to the upcoming forum transfer process, Yakfinities #21 is going to be delayed... meaning that this one will probably run through May.

To make this up to everyone, we'll have two winners once this current contest ends.

So keep those entries coming!

Great entries so far! I've gotten mine pieced together - -- not going to be a whole lot of painting. I know everyone thinks that Luke is a sniveling whelp sometimes (I guess he gets it from his daddy), but our lovable, dashing space pirate Han might not be as recognizable the next time you see him. At least in character.

jedistyle - -- nice work with Nes Malu! I'm really liking the light yellow tunic, as well as the use of the Typho arms and Kota armor. They really have a simplistic armor look that matches the Jedi theme. Are the legs just your standard ol' E1 Obi-Wan? Look very cool the way you painted the upper straps in white to differentiate it from the boot.

stormtripper -- - Sorry to hear about the accident, but glad to hear that you're getting better! Really cool idea to go with a Mando bounty hunter for Han. Although Han might have been a "scoundrel," Boba Fett was almost an arch-nemesis, and I can think of no better role-reversal than what you came up with right here. Good job on making Han look a little rougher with the 5 o'clock shadow. I'm making a Solo as well, but don't think he'll clash with yours as it's more of a personality change than outfits.

chewie - - - I commented over at rebelscum a while back, but I really like this figure a lot. I know that there was some contention over the white armor. I personally think that it fits the idea of Luke, had he gone over to the dark side. It really does with the Imperial armor look, and although it's taking a role-reversal into mind, Luke seems like he would still be "one of the guys." (even if that means turning evil and becoming a Sith Lord) And to mention it again - fantastic work on painting the face and eyes!! I've seen relatively few sithly/sickly paint jobs that were convincing. This one works!

tonphanan - -- Cool take on Padme! While I was trying to come up with an idea, I thought back to lil' Annie offering to rule their Empire together. I guess this is what would have happened had Padme not went off whining about him breaking her heart. :p The screaming head is just creepy, and really goes with the sith theme. Nice work on the tattoo designs, and good choice for the jedi leia body. Thanks for sharing!!

Allen, awesome job with your entries.... With the Indy figures hitting shelves here, I figured you'd come up good use for them.... And the results don't disappoint!

Admiral Solo - I probably like this one the best... Even with the "role reversal" theme, each one seems like it could have come about for each character. However, this one just seems to work really well. The grizzled look of Han gives him the look of a battle-hardened military strategist, maybe even his cocky nature would lend to this Imperial position. Nice job!

Dark Lady Leia - Cool color theme on this one. The garnet color makes it different from just straight black. Also, nice job on combining the hair and Leia's head. I've tried "scalping" heads a lot, and they don't always blend as well as this. Also, nice work on the soft goods!

Jedi Knight Palpy - Kind of funny to think of Palpatine being on the good side. I've seen baddie Yoda's from time to time, but I think this is the first time Palps has turned to the light side! Kudos for an original idea. Great job o sculpting the hair and ponytail. Also, the Luke torso and arms work really well for a Jedi.... might be a good choice for future Jedi customs.

Here's my entry for the month, er.... months. Everyone likes to think of Luke as a sniveling whelp, complaining and bickering and the like. But Han is always cool, at least, for the most part. But this is poor little Han Shallow. Poor guy - -- even C3-P0 pushes him around! He might be small, scared and altogether nerdy, but Han Shallow was only a little bit nervous around the Ewoks.

Pathetic pictures..... one day I'll invest in a decent camera.

The parts:

30AC Han head, torso
30AC Ceremony Luke legs

70's playskool lady arms... to give that tuff-guy look.

"Not bad for a little furball.... Uh, maybe um, maybe the Ewoks will just fight them enough that we won't have to get too involved."
