I went with Feral Droids as well... kind of a last minute idea after reading the Star Wars novel "Jedi Twilight: Coruscant Nights" - there is a sector in Coruscant on the other side of the planet where very few people live anymore, and it has been taken over by droids who slaughter people. Even the astromechs are violent... :lol:

I'd like to see some Marvel characters. The options are a little more limited via comic packs over the years, but there's still lots of good fooder out there. Zeltrons or how about that Fish-Man from the water world arc?

I love zombies and the new death troopers novel is bumpin'!! so flat out i would have to vote for this one.
but lately i have been wanting to create droids and robots so i could vote for this one too!!
how about a double challenge?!!! combine zombies and droids that go berserk!! lol!! anyway have fun everyone i am already working on a few projects for either contest so hope to see everyones work.

I choose Light Side/Dark Side because making a character twice, once the Jedi/light side version and the Sith/dark side version

light and dark side does seem fun, but maybe we need a bigger and badder challenge, the berserk droids would seem more suiting considering it is october, but the dark side i am very fond of, but zombies would be so much fun with halloween and day of the dead around the corner....but which ever one would be good for me i like pushing the envelope so lets see what happens.
CHEWIE!!! We need results mate! i think we need a decision, i think it is time we already know the winner so lets get it rolling!!! i am a little dissapointed that my vote swayed away from making DEATH TROOPERS and FERRAL DROIDS however i got some on the works anyway so as far as the lightside darkside challenge i am excited and i already have my first customs being posted in the next day or so.
ALSO EVERYONE!! i think alot of us customizers should participate in the SECRET SANTA PROJECT there is alot of customizers involved and i keep hoping to see more of you on there.

We'll lock down voting after tomorrow as scheduled, and people can get started! No reason people can't get started early if they want to, but we will probably leave voting open... I remember about a year ago we had a 4 vote lead get lost with just two days left on an earlier theme.
Then we'll also do a roundup of the Ladies next week, which really has some amazing entries this time around. I'm thankful the winners are randomly chosen with how many people entered, especially with the quality... outstanding stuff to say the least!

Hope everyone had a kick ass halloween, as for me turned out great first time trick r treating in 13 years my daughter had a blast and lots of candy great night for her 1st halloween...i am wishing good luck to everyone and look forward to the next contest maybe we will get the results soon so we can post our upcoming work.

Sweet, I ordered a bunch of figures (all of the same character). It won't be too much work, mainly repainting them, but I've got a neat idea for a dio.
Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with! Got some ideas I need to hammer out, but I can promise at least one pair of figures this round!

I had an idea for a fan-fic female Imperial turned Jedi when the light/dark side idea was brought up, so I am going to continue working on them today and try and finish - this challenge might be as fun as the last!
Looks like I'm the first one out of the gate - below is a force sensitive Imperial officer that worked directly for Palpatine - she used her knowledge of the force and the darkside to help track down rogue Jedi after Order 66 to execute them. When confronted with killing padawans though, she went AWOL after witnessing her troops gun one down. She later helped to rescue a few padawans and in return they helped her harness her force abilities and brought her to the lightside.
Both versions of this fan-fic character can be seen below. The Jedi version was inspired by something Chewie made awhile back, but I decided to change the colors, hands, hair, skirt, etc to make my own version. Props to Chewie for thinking of the head/body combo - I really like how she turned out - she's easily my favorite female Jedi that I've customized.

Thanks - the Jedi is made up of the Shaak Ti body, Elizabeth Swan head, VOTC Tusken skirt, and an Adi Gallia hood. :wink:
Very creative DS - both figs are really well done and I like the concept. Did you just reuse the head ont he second figure or are these two completely separate/complete figures?
