Hello Everyone!!

QUANTUM 7 customs here..

I'm new to the forums but have been visiting Yakface for years! I have ALWAYS enjoyed seeing everyone's custom work. SO many talented people and so many awesome customs!! Love the all !!

I saw posted everywhere this new "Imperial Troopers" contest and had a few troopers that I wanted to share with the community!!

Take a look...

Death Trooper: One of my first attempts at sculpting many,many years ago ....My concept was that these were specialized killing troopers. Non-humans who answered to Vader and Vader alone. Sort of like his version of the Red Guards the Emperor employs......

I can not for the life of me remember where the body came from. I know it was another toy line , a long since dead toy line. The head was entirely sculpted with super sculpy..

Welcome to the forums - very cool concept, that's a great idea... thanks for sharing!

Note - older customs are not eligible for a prize but are certainly welcome for posting - thank you for pointing out it was an older figure you made.

Also, I think the base of it's from a Machestro Xyber 9 figure.

Here's my entry:

Imperial Tracker
Upper body, upper arms, lower legs: Legends Snowtrooper
Lower arms: TVC real style version of TCW Anakin
Head: Han Solo (TVC, Echo Base Repair)
Hood: GI Joe (first film snowmobile figure)
Crotch and thighs: TVC Quinlan Vos


Imperial Trackers came about after the Battle of Hoth. Finding a number of domesticated Tauntauns in Ech Base, a young officer saw an opportunity for advancement and offered his idea to his superiors. Knowing that imperial stormtrooper armor would give away imperial presence too easily, he decided to use single Tauntaun riders to to hunt out rebel bases throughout the galaxy. Some Taunstauns were cloned for warmer climates, but others were used on cold weather planets or during winters on other planets. Imperial trackers wore partial snowtrooper armor, so they could be easily identified by imperial agents, but looked rugged enough to look like simple scavangers that just happened to get lucky and find a lost shipment of imperial armor. The trackers did prove to be somewhat successful, but after the Battle of Endor the rebels found less reason for secret, hidden bases and the need for such trackers diminished.

So, I changed heads and switched the photos. I see Obi-Wan as well, but I thought the beard worked better. The Han head is not too similar, in my opinion.

Really nice work in this thread so far.

There is some great work for this round

Here is my entry. I might have to revisit this figure to fix up the paint weathering.
Imperial Heavy spacetrooper.
This Heavy armored exo-suit turns a normal spacetrooper into a walking tank. Used for breaching airlocks, bulkheads or even ship hulls.

Some great entries coming in on the lead-up to the deadline!
Love the Hoth Tracker dude, and the humungous Space Trooper!

Just had time to squeeze another entry in:
These are Imperial Security Troops, lightly armed guards that act as a local militia on planets not "important" enough to warrant the presence of Stormtroopers. They are poorly-equipped, and usually find that credit for any good work they do is stolen by other Imperial units who consider them to be underlings.

The guy in the red is an officer, the grey dude just a regular troop.

Recipe for officer:

Head - Indy KOTCS
Torso - TAC Pax Bonkik
Arms - TLC B-Wing Pilot
Pelvis/Legs - TAC Yavin Luke
Vest - VTSC Endor Han
Helmet - POTF2 DS Trooper

The other guy is more-or-less the same, but uses the POTJ Rebel Trooper head, X-Wing Pilot arms, and lower legs from Indiana Jones Col Dovchenko. Bandolier is from some old GI Joe figure. Hope you like them!!

Hey Guys, a few last minute entries, :)
First is a Barc Trooper, with weathered bike. these guys are stationed on most of the empires main systems, used a "police" force, they can get to incidents quickly, and can chase fleeing suspects :)

Next are two TIE Pilots. one used to be a republic commando, nicknamed "Shortie" due to a mess up with his cloning growth, and the other is known as The Emperors Hand, they both where chosen by palpatine to go on several missions to destroy any jedi, and leaders of rebellious movements! Together they form a formidable team. But the Fallen Jedi still keeps his guard up on Shortie, in case the emperor decides to prematurely "order 66" him, if he fails.

Here are my submissions to the Imperial Troopers Yakfinities.

These troopers are actually from the Legacy Comics Era from 130 ABY to 137 ABY (130 years in the future), during the era when the Empire accepted Non-humans and human females into the Imperial Army. They are a group of Imperial Storm Troopers, turned bounty hunters after the Empire was taken over by One Sith. Once, these thugs were trained by the Galactic Empire to be ruthless killers, however they found out for themselves that there were some orders even they could not follow. They decided to go rogue, and freelance themselves out to the highest bidders. The gang kept their Storm Trooper armor, knowing the fear it would instill in the enemies they faced in battle. Runuuk, was the name of the name of their cunning Whiphid leader. The other members of the bounty hunter gang from left to right are as follows; Slywer, Podro, Preeglo, Runuuk, Mydrid aka Blinky, and Tweeb.
