I agree, fantastic work all around. I'm blown away by all the entries... makes it nice that the winners are random... look for the roundup the week of July 8...

Great job. I loved the McQuarrie drawing of this bizarre character in the cantina. The CW cartoon did a great job of taking McQuarrie's vision and realizing his drawings into their stories.

Really well done. Great painting and sulpting. What, if any, original parts did you use?

I really enjoyed that story arc. Great way of taking what I believe to be a realistic figures and transforming it into a custom animated version of this female. Great.

Wow, so many great entries I am not sure where to start. Hasbro should have kept this line going. I think there are several figures here that put Hasbro’s work to shame.

Here is my entry for this round:

Steela from season 5’s rebellion of Onderon story arc.

I'm very impressed. I'd love to see an official Hasbro take on this guy, but you got him pretty close. And that's a tough custom to do
Thanks! I was just praying Hasbro would have tackled him. Ah well. He was tough. Serious eye strain doing his weapons. :D

Ah yes! I believe this is what you are referring to...

It's actually by Ron Cobb, another great artist who contributed to the great space saga.
Here's a link to my process in making this guy...http://www.yakfaceforums.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=7329

Where's the review? I thought it was supposed to be posted by July 8th? Or at least this week?

And now - time for the Roundup Report. I apologize for not having this done sooner. Last week I was slammed at work, and then went out of town on vacation with my family for nearly a week. We ended up staying a day later than planned. Work and family come first - but this Roundup is still not as late as I was afraid it would be.

...so many amazing entries, I had a hard time getting through all these! I think that r1g4r3po might have set a record for number of customs submitted for one of these... this roundup set my carpal tunnel on fire!

Without further delay, our RANDOM WINNERS are as follows:

2- Peakob1
3 - r1g43po

I would really love that cracken figure and a gungan.
Just glad to be along for the ride? And thank you!

Or gungan and tuskin raider would work fine too if the cracken figure is taken! :D

WOW, thank you soooo much. Honestly, that is one of the best roundups I can ever remember. Looks at all of these figures! What an awesome assortment. To the prize providers, HUGE THANKS for being incredibly generous. I select the following

- Death Squad Commander (He's never ever going to be "Imperial Navy Commander" in my eyes!)
- Colonel Cracken

Thanks again and Congrats to all. I can't wait to finish up my three entries for the Dark Horse #49 Yakfinities

That was a great one!!! The participation was off the chart and there weren't a lot of duplicated characters. Big congratulations to the winners!!!

thanks, this was really a fun set of projects to work on this past few months. It helped pass the time during the sw collecting down time and school being out for summer, i had quite a bit of free time. I still plan to continue CW along w/ DK characters that I had hoped to get around doing but have not had a chance to get started. I did post a some samples of DK characters I had completed over the years in the yakfinities #49 thread, but my official entrees hopefully will start possibly post sdcc. I also recently finished a menacing/less passive looking Tera Senubi a couple days ago, obviously too late for this contest, but i couldnt resist attempting this character when i spotted an ideal source figure on clearence at TRU last weekend. So for kicks, here he is: (that was the only spare long handled saber i had, but it does complement his expression)

I gather my fellow winners here chose INC, Craken, Tusken and Gungan. New Jango/BD and Naboo pilot are welcome to join my collection, I may even recycle the pilot for a future yakfinities project if, well more correctly, when inspiration hits me.
I just want to again say thank you to everyone here for the opportunity to showcase some of everyone's efforts and imagination Too bad Hasbro dropped that ball, but maybe SDCC/CE2 will give them a chance to get back on the ball.
I will forward my mailing address info before the end of the wknd.

Thanks and i look forward the Yakfinities#49!!
