Love the Mandalorian Super Commando, Peakob. Such a pity Haabro dropped the ball and didn't use the great designs from the Mandalore arc...

Hello everyone. So happy to have had an opportunity to make a couple of custom dioramas for the Clone Wars Yakfinities. First up is Quinlan Vos. I wanted my Jedi customs to have some vintage style elements such as blasters and cloaks. I have many moe detailed photos of the diorama in my thread.

ok, here are my "wave 3" starters:
i was hoping to have used an actual ahsoka head, but the only spare ahsoka figurei have really belongs to my wife so...no dice, i had an extra montrasity tac luke yavin head so i used it since mostly it'd be hidden by the hood, and as an unexpected bonus feature, the hair/part worked well enough for goggles resting on her forhead under the hood. but if i ever get an cheap ahsoka for fodder, or even a shaak ti, i will re-do the head

like ahsoka, and others honestly, i had trouble painting eyes (my eyes are not as good as the tests at the eye dr claims, lol) so after several attempts w/ paining eyes, face deatils, repainting face etc, some old attempts of face tattoos bled thru the flesh color and actually doesnt look that bad. Adding horns was a simple concept yet challenging task, i ended up breaking one off too short but hey, looks cool to me. I got a few ideas brewing for wave 4 when i finish wave 3. hopfully, i can get wave 4 done and presented before this cool conteat ends....who knows, maybe i can start a wave 5...so many ideas brewing. If I have time, could dig out my older 2002/3 micro series cw customs that I carded to show them off too (not part of this contest, but just to share thier images)

So much to love on this thread, The republic police droid is such a great creation. I love your execution and the paint work looks terriffic. They are one of those characters that when watching the series, we tend to take for granted, but they really deserve to be made into a figure. You made a great figure for sure.

Also, Peakob, that Mandalorian super commando looks just awesome. I love the spikes added to his armor. THat paint work looks fantastic, also the pit droid is one of my favorite entries as well, but my favorite of your latest creations has to be your Sugi creation. That figure is just outstanding. I loved the character in the series and your have really captured the look and feel of her. Your work on her head is top notch. Your paint work is so recognizable, its like reading a comic series and instantly recognizing the artist's signature style. Your work is as recognizable to me as Todd Mcfarlane's Spiderman or Frank Miller's Batman. Great job

haperdrive, thats a killer compliment! thanks soooo much! I wish i could some how translate my style to do it for a living since i just recently changed my job title to full time customizer and not by my choice if you know what i mean! Sugi took about a month to pull off, i worked really hard on her! if you like my style please check out my facebook page peakob1 custom creations and give me a like but of course i will be here as well posting new pictures when i can!

So many great characters that came from the show and that have been captured here. My next one is Sergeant Bric, the battle-worn Siniteen bounty hunter turned drill instructor during the Clone Wars.

here are the next 2 from my "wave 3"...easy repaint and kitbashed dengar and clone tech, I was originally planning arc trooper commander echo for the clone of this wave plus "the (Mortis) father" but sometimes when i gather parts i need, parts for another idea come together more easily and figs get rearranged, i guess hasbro has simular scenerios, lol. So, it appears w/ what parts i have that i just realized will work well together, another fan-fave clone is in the works and possibly another simple repaint will conclude "wave 3" by memorial day
