Yakfinities #54 will run from October 1 - December 31.

The winning category is Order 66 Survivors / Jedi Outcasts.

Have fun, and good luck as we'll have three random winners selected in January! Remember to submit NEW customs for this theme.

If not for the fact that Rebels was already done recently, I'd have proposed that. For now, I like the idea of sand crawler droids.

Yeah, we did that for the joint site contest, but I figured a Yakfinities challenge focusing on the new show would be fun too; especially since we'll be seeing the first episode at the same time this round is slated to start.

I went with vintage remix. I think it would be fun to paint some modern figures in paint schemes that are reminiscent of the old school designs. Like Greedo with bright green clothes, for example.

same here..

super busy this year but i might get in on this one.

Despite having multiple death scenes filmed for, but ultimately cut from, Revenge Of The Sith, Shaak Ti survived the implementation of Order 66, and exiled herself on Felucia where she took Maris Brood as a padawan and awaited an inevitable confrontation with Darth Vader. As depicted in The Force Unleashed, Shaak Ti dueled Vader's secret apprentice above the Ancient Abyss clad only in the threadbare remnants of her Jedi garb. Given the increasingly small likelihood that Hasbro will revisit the Jedi Master in her final costume, I thought that I would put together my own version in 6" scale.

Recipe, reference, turnaround animation and additional pictures can be found in my customs thread.

I've been trying to make time to jump back in on Yakfinities for a while, and had a bit of inspiration for the latest theme and came up with this character. Arys Takar is a padawan who's chopped off her hair to disguise herself as a young boy training for the Bounter Hunter's guild. Parts and more information at my site, as always.

Arys "Styx" Takar

EDIT: It's been a while since I've posted work on a forum that doesn't autoshrink my images, is there a way to force them to display a little smaller with the BBCode?

Both great entries so far. Nice work to both of you!

Danofthedead - I don't think I would have ever figured that el-les torso would look that good on a realistic custom. Great eye - it looks great.

Thanks!

I wasn't big on Clone Wars when it first came out, but grew to really enjoy it. Still disappointed in the figures though, but there are some gems to be found for customizing in the line. A lot of the parts are thin enough to work for characters that are women or younger without looking too out of place on non-animated style figures.

Looking forward to seeing what everyone else comes up with for this round. I've got a few more ideas on my work bench.

Jedi Mastar Enna Rish escaped her clone unit after a costly battle in which she lost both of her legs and her Padawan. She has had droid leg implants as a reminder of the cost of her escape. She is determined to seek justice for her betrayal by defeating Darth Vader. Her quest might lead her down a path that borders her Jedi ideals and the lure of the darkside.

Dag Jorsyn-Dag Jorsyn was once known by another name. That name was Roj Daglin; Jedi Master Roj Daglin. Master Daglin and the 20 Jedi Knights under his command were attached to Clone Commander Burk of the 616th Support Platoon. After suffering many casualties (including half of the Jedi he brought with) battling the CIS forces in the Outer Rim Territories, Master Daglin had enough. Never fully trusting Commander Burk and the other clones, Daglin took his remaining Knights and left. Weeks later word of Order 66 reached the group. Master Daglin felt they would all be safer if they split up and went their separate ways. Master Daglin drifted for several years until he wound up on Kettmar Station on the Kettmar Trade route in the Outer Rim. He is currently Security Chief aboard the station. He uses his Jedi powers to seek out the dangerous element aboard the station.
