I think a 'darkside of the Force' challenge would be cool - any Force sensitive that uses the darkside, not just Sith.

A Rebels challenge would be fun too.

I like a lot of the ideas so far.

What about "the new canon" - Rebels, the Marvel comics, and the new novels could all be fair game...

Or Rebel cells - the small militia groups that predated the Rebel Alliance...

Yeah, I think any kind of anti-imperials could count if you wanted to make a nice broad frame to work from.

Rebel militia also sounds cool. Is that just miscellaneous rebels? Sounds good to me, there's plenty of room to get creative.

Any of those would be cool. I went with Militia as my vote, but I think I would be happy if any of them won.

I'm liking some of the alternate ideas you guys are suggesting, but rebel militia is good, too.
